State farm in Minneapolis when Daniel C****** was in charge was a great company. Don't let Selena Martinez and group fool you. They hang up on you, they are impolite they won't listen to their adjusters and the advice the adjusters give their customers. They are not " agood neighbor"

I’ve had some really bad insurance companies before but this one takes the cake for the worst!!! We were with them quite a while with no problems at all until I was told I had to file a claim to get my kitchen fixed because we had mold and it was making both me and my husband sick. The mold was so bad that it killed our pet (cat) who was 14 years old. I will never forgive my former agent for what he did for as long as I live. I can't give them a 5 star first off I got a letter saying they were going to cancel my auto insurance after signing up with state farm because devon didn't add me to my policey and now I'm dealing with my first home insurance claim where a tree destroyed my garage devon didn't even come look at my property and are put them at the cost to be rebuild or the clean up so now im.dealing with a nightmare and they are picking and choosing what they will cover even with personal property. State Farm is one big joke. I have been member for 4 yrs now. I was told by my agent they will be canceling my roadside insurance due to I have been using it for the last 4 yrs. Only onetime per yr. I pay for the service and can not use it. What's wrong with these insurance companies they want you to pay for the insurance however, you can't use it right. This company does not put the wellbeing of their clients first at all. I have all of the possible discounts in place right now (safe driver, good student, etc..) and still my insurance bill is about the same amount of money as my car note. Terrible especially for young people and students, as you end up spending hours on the phone with them every time your bill is due trying to get an explanation for additional charges. Llamé para cancelar una póliza de seguro y primero me anunciaron que el seguro subiría, cosa ilógico porque si tengo dos autos y quito uno del seguro lo mas lógico sería que pagara menos, luego al ver que tenía que pagar lo mismo fui personal a la oficina y cuando llegue me dijeron que tenía que pagar ése mes que tomaba tiempo para quitar el auto del seguro y que ahora mismo lo quitaron ( casualmente) pero que el Bill ya estaba hecho que tenía que pagar, en resumen, una estafa

The State Farm office and people are great In feb I had a basement flood it is now almost September and still not finished communication between the adjuster and contractor was poor it took weeks for the adjuster to come out it took weeks for the adjuster to get the est to the contractor my water heater has been out due to water damage for the last 4 weeks and they still haven’t sent there evaluater out I’m still out of hot water personally I’m looking for a different ins co

I filed a claim with state farm for storm damage to my roof in June. They sent out an adjuster and then a week or so later they sent out a second adjuster. They never told us they were sending out a second adjuster and have refused to tell us why they needed to send out a second adjuster. I have requested a copy of the adjuster's findings and why they had to send out a second one. I have emailed and called on multiple occasions. Unfortunately I will not be returning and would not recommend this insurance company to anyone based on the company’s customer service. If I could leave a zero star, I would.
