My employer didn’t offer Short Term Disability Insurance.I am Hispanic-American. Subsequently,I obtain insurance through my long-standard my provider,State Farm.I had three surgeries as a result of these injuries! State Farm still hasn’t approved my claim.They don’t return calls.State Farm is impossible to review and approve claims! -Six months of three surgeries later and still waiting

If I could give ZERO stars, I would!! State Farm is horrible! We had been with State Farm from 1995-2013 and they were great. We recently changed back to them in June. BIG MISTAKE! My daughter had an accident tonight (she was at fault, only damage was to her car, other car was fine) in ******* which is about 600 miles away from where we live. She called and filed a claim. We have "24/7 Roadside Assistance" but she was told that she would have to leave her car parked in a ******* parking lot until Monday. Unacceptable! I trie... read more

Worst experience in my life I felt secure until I lost my home to fire the adjusters are rude and it’s been a nightmare I would not recommend State Farm I don’t feel my needs are being met and it’s poor customer service care

DO NOT USE STATE FARM. We had a house fire that was caused by a faulty plug . The fire marshal confirmed this, State Farm agreed. There was no doubt it was an uncontested claim. We lost our 4 fur babies and everything we own. State Farm SCREWED US on our policy, and cheaped out on EVERYTHING. We hired a lawyer, who netted us an additional 400k after a 2 year court battle. We just wanted what was owed as per our policy. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. All they cared about was saving themselves money

A nightmare to work with. Been with them since 1980. Only filled a few claims over the last 40 years. And light a crappy neighbor, and only hassled and trying to makeup excesses not to fully repair our home. I would choose any other option if you can. They love your premiums, but not helping you. Sad.

The worst insurance ! They try to force you to get repairs at their shop and when you don’t they take forever to come do an estimate . Then any time you call the reps will all say something different to you and then you can never reach the managers. It’s the worst place ever

I have a flood mitigation complain with State Farm. I was given the names of three flood mitigation companies by my local State Farm rep. I used one of these companies after a freeze event in Dec 2022. The recommended company (***** ***), came and did the flood mitigation. During this process, they did not do a complete dry out of the home. They refused to attempt to dry the crawl space. During the process, they also removed portions of the vapor barrier. As a 35 year customer, I filed a roof claim with State Farm. The first adjustor showed up as scheduled. After an issue with the inspection, I asked for a re-inspection and almost one month later I received a call from the new adjustor to schedule the re-inspection. After agreeing on the date and time, I contacted my contractor who was to meet the adjustor at our home to go over the inspection. The adjustor for the re-inspect never showed up or called.
