State Farm has been the worse about follow up with claims. We had hail damage on our home on April 5, 2023 and this is Oct 2 and still waiting on appraisers to contact us on siding damage because the siding we have is out of production. They do not return calls when we are asked to contact them because we missed a call. Very disappointed and upset. This was our 2nd claim in 2 years. The first one was we were stuck almost head on and both of us had State Farm and it was 18 months getting doctor and hospital bills settled and ... read more

Couple of weeks ago my State Farm agent had called me to let me know that my policy would be cancelled in the coming weeks, so that day I told my agent to go ahead and cancel policy which now 2 months later they did an unauthorized payment from my banking account. I’ve tried to dispute it but they are telling my that I won’t get all my money back, if I get any back.

Company engages in illegal activity. They have recently settled multiple class action lawsuits for ripping off and defrauding customers. Our whole neighborhood was hit hard by a storm the only houses that didn't get new roofs were State Farm clients. The contractors run the other way. Additionally they offered less than 1/2 the actual cash value of my total loss. The body shops use the same software and have significantly higher values for the same claim which is exactly what State Farm has been sued for. STAY AWAY!

Ive been paying State Farm faithfully since 2008 without incident or accident. Here we are in 2023 and someone hit my truck in my driveway in the middle of the night causing front damage to where the right headlight is. First of all my truck was taken to the salvage yard for appraisal, yet my plates was taken off, gas drained out and is was listed as total loss yet they put a estimate in for repair. Obviously it wasn’t a total loss but my vehicle sat from 8/24 until 9/4 at the salvage yard then moved for repairs. Mind you we... read more

Filing our home claim for storm damage to our roof has been the absolute worst experience imaginable. We are going on 6 MONTHS of this claim with little to no response and our claim getting handed off to multiple different claims agents where we have to start all over with each one. Our contractors have consistently sent them what they request in a timely manner and State Farm continues to go no response and no contact for weeks or more at a time until we pester them enough to get any sort of answer. Our roof has been tarped... read more

These people are SCUM! My insurance was projected to increase after the 6 month policy expired. No accidents, no tickets. I received a check from State Farm in the amount of $136 and didn't know why. Now I know: they sent me that check, so I'd have a lapse in coverage. Now my insurance is extremely high, due to the lapse. Don't do business with them, I warned you!

I would like to give zero stars. I filed a homeowners insurance claim on 8/20/23 due to Tropical Storm Hillary causing damage to my home. The heavy rain and wind caused a leak somewhere in roof. The leak caused the ceiling to collapse in a bedroom and damage to wall and ceiling in bathroom. The adjuster came out and said that he was recommending they replace entire roof. A week later I get a call from my new claims associate saying they were denying my claim. They are saying my roof was improperly installed and that's what c... read more

State Farm offered me a good price to move my car insurance AND home insurance from ********. My ******** policy was cancelled by state farm and weeks after taking payments and "insuring" my home, Stste Farm alerted me that they refuse to underwrite the home policy. The pictures submitted by the agent were blurry, were from a distance and did not show accurate pictures of our roof. The underwrites said I need a new roof which is NOT TRUE OR ACCURATE. they did not do a home inspection, a roof inspection nor did they use any o... read more
