I filed an insurance claim for water leaking from my condo upper unit that damage my 2 cars garage ceiling. It costed me $5000 to fix my ceiling but I was unable to get my $1000 deductible back until today. Waster leaking was totally not my fault. I filed a claim on my house due to water damage. I was told to send pictures of the damage and I could do the repairs myself. Save the receipts and I would be reimbursed. It's been 7 weeks and state farm has gave me the run around ever since and will not return phone calls.

I had an accident almost a month ago. The person who hit me was insured by State Farm. We have been trying for a month to get State Farm to decide whether or not to total my vehicle. While our body shop says the car (which was only 6 months old) is a total loss, State Farm is goofing around and not deciding anything. State Farm is THE WORST! I have been with them for over 30 YEARS! We practically have shingles falling off our roof when we have steady rain and it's really bad if the wind is blowing extra hard! We attempted to file a claim when water dripped down on me one morning while lying in the bed due to the ROOF leaking. What did they do pay for patching. Ive had mu insurance on auto pay through my bank card. My card was hit for a fraudulent charge. The bank cut my card off and it actually made a non payment on my insurance. Three days late and they canceled my insured in March and Took my payment out for April when I set it up for auto pay straight from my bank account. Now I'm here renewing my policy and they are charging me a renewal fee. Needless to say ill be looking for a cheaper rate.

Come home after a storm about 3 weeks ago and had shingles turned up on my house. Called insurance company they told me to get a contractor out, he came walked the roof took pictures and said we definitely had wind and hail damage. Adjuster came out all he said was we had a weird crystaling on the roof, they send out there own inspector from another state who looks the roof over marks 4-5 areas in the roof tells us he definitely sees storm damage. Had hail storm damage to roof and siding. Got a new roof put on which left me $2000 for siding. They refused to pay for gutters and leaf guards. They expect the siding to be spliced from good siding to damage ones then use new siding on damage pieces. Siding is 22 years old and faded. Can’t match exact color or texture. The difference will be quite noticeable. Filing is the worst I ever heard of and the contractor says the same thing. State Farm is the WORST company to have homeowners insurance with. They look for EVERY reason to deny your claim instead of help. I do not recommend them to anyone. Temperature reached single digits and I had a frozen pipe burst. They denied my claim. Had to pay $5000+ to cover the expenses. Then put me in a hotel, told me it was covered but when I arrived there to check in the hotel guest said I had to pay $700.
