State Farm has been HORRIBLE!!! Our truck was destroyed by a drunk driver. They only gave 1/3 of its value, lied several times, forced us into accepting their low ball offer by refusing to extend the rental. We are already short one vehicle, so have to get another one. Now, they won't even give us the money for another 5 days. We have no truck, no rental, and no money to buy another vehicle. The claims person was a total jerk. We will NEVER use State Farm again.

I echo comments below to some degree. We were paying way too much for car insurance on a monthly basis without realizing it. Recently when I questioned yet another rate increase the State Farm agent mentioned something the loss of five star rating due to my being rear-ended by an uninsured driver that happened three years ago! Had state farm for over 3 years now with policies for 3 properties and 3 vehicles. Everything was smooth because I never had to use them for a claim. However, I had to file a claim for one of the properties due to storm damage. State farm sent an inspector on 05/12/2023, but everything has taken a ridiculous amount of time since with no communication whatsoever without me calling them every time because they are well overdue on reaching out for an update. I was involved in a car accident and State Farm is my insurance. The recent accident was not my fault. I was rear ended when i was stopped in traffic. The driver of the other vehicle had no license and was driving someone elses vehicle. The vehicle owners insurance denied liability as the driver was considered an excluded driver. Zero is my rating. My car was hit by a State Farm insured and they’ve been going back and forth with my body shop now for 3 months. First they say they will do repairs and send the shop an email to confirm and the next day they change their minds. This has been happening now for a couple of months and no one is accountable. A bunch of incompetent people with no leadership to make final decisions. It has been a nightmare and I’ve had it.

State Farm has been slow to respond to my homeowners insurance claim. The loss happened on 5-29-2023. I have received payment for mitigation and they have sent an payment for the repairs however they approved about 60% of the repair bill. So our house has been sitting with 2 rooms unusable. Some of the issue is my understanding of what they will or will not cover. My biggest issue is they're so slow to respond and when they did respond, it didn't answer the questions completely. This is by far the worse insurance company around , they want u to pay all the high insurance coverage on your cars but when time to handle a claim they want to pay half of what your car is worth , getting a lawyer today and will fight this to the end, and will be definitely changing insurance on both houses, my boat and all my cars

Es buena para cobrar pero si tiene un accidente te eliminan la póliza de seguro, y no importa si fue su culpa o no. Me acaban de eliminar mi póliza de seguro de carro por un accidente

The absolute worst company ever do not waste your time or money with them. I have been in 2 accidents and was left to pay out of pocket for both. The first one I was side swiped and had to pay $3,000 when I wasn’t at fault. My most recent one I was cut off which caused me to do a 360 and hit the concrete median which totaled my car. The other car drove off and didn’t stop so I now have to pay for a new car.
