I had to file a claim for water damage, due to my brand new washer breaking. I have sent in all invoices requested, I have added more information to my claim and I have emailed, called and left numerous messages for our claims adjusters but have not had any return calls or emails. Largest Insurance company and they treat their long time client horrible. I definitely would not recommend State Farm to anyone.
Over 2 months ago we found a window broken by a flying tent stake. The window was completely shattered and had filled with water from rains. This was found on a Sunday when claims is not open, and local agent is not available. So, we filed an online claim. During that process, which is NOT user friendly, it tells me that either the payment amount on the claim will be anything above the deductible, OR less 5% if under the deductible (which is our case... this is a minor claim, but should be straight forward). 5 entire days we... read more
Do not expect this company to give you any personal notification like a text, phone call, or email if you are going to lose coverage on a policy. This office is extremely disorganized, and unaccountable for their negligence in having their customers’ best interest at heart. 6 months of no auto insurance and I had no idea until I had a car accident. No help, no accountability, different stories every time about how they sent paper notices (never received), texts (never received), and emails (never received). Stay away from th... read more
Terrible company. They dropped by Auto Insurance because I had 2 windshield replacement claims on separate vehicles and 1 not at fault accident. I never missed a payment. Also, they are very expensive! Just another greedy company!
first of all, they declined my claim for a car that I just bought 30 days prior. Never got into an accident and made sure it had all its fluids. Well on my way to work early in the morning. There was a rain and all of a sudden white smoke/steam filled the cockpit causing me to pull over. I then had it towed back to the dealership I Bought it and they not only lied and said it wasn't there 3 times, but they never looked at it regardless. So, I called *** and they recommended S******** service center. There they said the car w... read more
Fraudulent claim placed into Subrogation. Claim is for $4,002 on a homeowner's property insurance. The so-called pavilion firepit was not on the claimant's property but was in fact a road obstruction 15-20 feet from property line, well into the road East ******* **. Homeowners insurance does not cover items in a roadway, that violates Alaska encroachment laws. Claimant was also told by the M***** ******* to remove said road obstruction. As well as other vehicles previously blocking egress. I have contacted State Farm via ema... read more
Never in my widest dreams did I think something like having a new adjuster assigned to my claim would turn into such a nightmare. I'm sorry I made the decision to go with State Farm. Clearly they are a good neighbor when they are taking your money every month, but not when you need the insurance you paid for. Buyer beware!
A tree fell across the entire Interstate and State Farm is making me pay a higher premium for something that was out of my control. Loyal customer for over 20 years.
50 years with state farm. No accidents that were my fault. Recently 2 of my bathrooms leaked. No other claims. Now I'm losing my homeowners insurance!!! This is ridiculous! I haven't had a claim in 20 years! Bad business!!!
