I own a hemp company that is also a bar selling beer and wine. I was insured through John Shaffer State Farm for both my restaurant policy and an auto policy. State Farm is all about your money and nothing about service. If it's anywhere near 5 pm you are directed oversees to deal with idiots that have no authority or knowledge to help you.
They keep getting higher every month. Time to look elsewhere
If you need insurance, steer clear of State Farm. They are the worst insurance company out there. We have had State Farm insurance for almost 40 years without one claim, and when we had 1-1/2" hail hit our area, State Farm has refused to pay for the damage to our roof and skylights. We've protested as far up the chain of command as we could, only to have them say, "Sorry, nothing we can do." Useless insurance, 1 hour long queue, unhelpful desk adjusters, unhelpful representatives. Never get statefarm. U*** or t******** is better.
I went online to get quotes for auto mobile insurance. I received a call back from State Farm Insurance. They quoted me for full coverage $75 per month. They requested my account information so that they could debit the 1st months payment. I asked them if I had automobile replacement in case of an accident and they advise me no. I told them I received a letter and today a call back. The rep advised me tat this was a quote for liability only. State Farm insurance company for over 40 years - called for storm damage and they didn’t even show to document damage - just used their definition of flood and water damage to deny my claim! They suck - it was phone tag for 2 weeks - then stated “no coverage!” I will change all my coverages - 5 cars / 2 boats / 2 houses If you have State Farm - I recommend you change ASAP - you don’t have piece of mind!
State Farm doesn't even deserve 1 star! We dealt with Toni & Dan (Ohio). These people act as if they are not hired & employed by me to protect my interests including 3 vehicles & my home!!! Bad storms have hit NE Ohio. State Farm has sent no adjuster to see interior damage & refuse to show us the report the roofer they hired emailed. That roofer told us the severity of the damage & explained the process of matching shingles... Water was pouring into our attic!!!! POURING!!!!! There's interior damage & exterior. Got into an accident yesterday, been calling State Farm for the past day and a half. They told me that they couldn’t do anything until they get confirmation from the insurer. Turns out he did call in this morning, but they transferred him to the claim representative who never answers her phone. Been trying to reach her all day and left several messages and she refuses to return any calls. So if I and I insurer can’t get a hold of her nothing will be resolved. At this point I blame State Farm
