Come home after a storm about 3 weeks ago and had shingles turned up on my house. Called insurance company they told me to get a contractor out, he came walked the roof took pictures and said we definitely had wind and hail damage. Adjuster came out all he said was we had a weird crystaling on the roof, they send out there own inspector from another state who looks the roof over marks 4-5 areas in the roof tells us he definitely sees storm damage. Had hail storm damage to roof and siding. Got a new roof put on which left me $2000 for siding. They refused to pay for gutters and leaf guards. They expect the siding to be spliced from good siding to damage ones then use new siding on damage pieces. Siding is 22 years old and faded. Can’t match exact color or texture. The difference will be quite noticeable. Filing is the worst I ever heard of and the contractor says the same thing. State Farm is the WORST company to have homeowners insurance with. They look for EVERY reason to deny your claim instead of help. I do not recommend them to anyone. Temperature reached single digits and I had a frozen pipe burst. They denied my claim. Had to pay $5000+ to cover the expenses. Then put me in a hotel, told me it was covered but when I arrived there to check in the hotel guest said I had to pay $700. I've had state farm for 24 years. There have been very few auto claims (mostly windows) and just recently had my first home claim for hail and wind damage. They sent an independent adjuster that told us (before he ever set foot on the roof) that he was held to a higher standard than state farm agents and independent contractors would not be paying out anymore. What a joke. They spend millions on misleading commercials, charge crazy premiums, then deny claims. I have full coverage, including theft. They are denying my claim for theft of my car. My car was stolen and after recovery by police it was towed to impound. When it was returned to me, I drove a few blocks and it died. Was diagnosed as needing a new engine from being abused by those who stole it. I was involved in accident with a State Farm insurance carrier in 2022. They were at fault and damaged the vehicle I was a passenger in. State Farm does not want to properly compensate me for my injuries. They are a horrible insurance company when it comes to paying claims! It should never take this long to settle.

I am so disappointed in StateFarm. I have a personal articles policy with them. My wife lost her wedding rings which were what was covered under the policy. They’ve dragged their feet for 9 months on this. They made us give them our phone records, and also made us give a deposition. -1,000/10. They have genuinely made me lose faith in insurance in general.

I have car insurance with State Farm for the past 5 years. I added my brother as an additional driver, however my brother is no longer with us and my agent Emmanuel Ochoa at 17 Winant Ave Ridgefield Park Village, NJ 07660-1925 is refusing to answer my calls and refusing to take my brother off as an additional driver.
