0 STARS. Had 2 roofers tell me I had hail damage. So I filed a claim and then they sent out “their guy” and he stated I had no damage and denied the claim. I would give no stars if allowed. What’s the point of paying all that money for insurance if they refuse to pay.

I live in Missouri, after a severe storm I called T** ****** ********* for a inspection on my roof. They found hail damage on the roof, gutters and window screens. I called my State Farm agent on 3/27/2024 to open a clame for hale damage on my roof. State Farm assigned Justin G*** as the inspector. Justin called me and said he would send out an inspector since he was not certified to get on a two story roof. I told him it was not a 2 story but a raised ranch. Have been with Marci Barrett - Avon OH for last 15+ years for all my home and auto policies. She has been the best. However her team who handles the daily business is totally different. In last 6 months bill zoomed by over $50 per month. When called for explanations, got a standard response - inflation, its a corporate act we can't do anything etc. One of the worst agents/ office managers to work with esp M******* from Marci Barrett's team at Avon, OH. Home insurance price was a higher amount than what was quoted, no one told me that the price went up they just took the money from my account. Didn’t give me a chance to cancel. I’m not even sure if that is legal.

State Farm is a state of the art scamming company they do not care about their customers all they care about is themselves and they’re monthly payments recently insurance went up 20% in California when I first started with them my bill was around 250 a month for excellent driving record for 10 years no tickets anything little by little insurance went up 50 bucks almost every six months right now. Absolutely awful, time consuming and soul destroying customer service. Am a 60 year customer and State Farm in no way acted honestly and in good faith on our roof claim. Instead of agreeing to replace a 20 yr old hail damaged roof that had a large leak in one area, they chose to only replace that section. They found what they called a "reasonable match" shingle (it did not match) and then insisted that even though it didn't match now, it would within a year due to weathering. I have been with State Farm for various cars, rentals, and homeowner insurance policies since I was about 17 years old and I’m currently 43. I have a perfect driving record and nothing ever happened in any of my homes that were my fault. In 2019, my car got broken into and it was a claim to homeowners. Last year, the condo, associations water meter leaked through my home causing damage and a second claim -2 things since 17 years old and again not MY FAULT, and they dropped me. Terrible to deal with. Brand new car less than a year old. They will only approve used parts and repair and reattach parts. Terrible communication and having to fight to get all the damages repaired.
