Terrible and difficult. The company over charged my account. After I closed my business down, Kody proceeded to tell me how to operate a successful business- proclaiming the fault of the closer was my own. (Which was completely unprofessional and unrelated to the overcharges I needed help with.) He denied the overcharges, claiming my account bank account was hacked. Worst insurance company in America. N******* ******* puts them to shame. This company hires the laziest and rudest people to work for them. When it comes to claims the adjuster won’t come out to look at damages they make you do the heavy lifting. Then they turn around and accuse you of not tending to your damaged property like putting items out of the rain. Well what if you live in a small trailer or home. Then they will penny pinch the repairs. For this reason never choose them.
Between June 21st and the 22nd my husband and I recently had sewer backup in our basement which we were covered for. When we filed a claim with State Farm, they requested us to hire a company to mitigate our basement which was finished and requested us to provide an itemized list for any property lost. If there were an option for zero, I would have selected it. I placed a complaint against an agency to State Farm in June 2024, and I have been calling to follow up on my complaint several times, receiving different information from different representatives and different numbers to call. I had a policy with an agent Rigo Delatorre in Elk Grove. I called to cancel back in January 2024, I requested to get a refund for the remaining 8 months. The man on the phone said he had put in the cancellation and I’d get a refund mailed to me. I never received my check. And now they said since I never emailed in my request, they won’t refund me my money! What a scam. Avoid this place if you want an honest business practice. They ignored my email after I called them on their shady business practices.
Avoid at all cost!!! Someone stole thousands of dollars in tools from my apt on Sept 4fh it's almost been a year and they have yet to tell me wether they will except my claim or deny it and June 1 they emailed saying an attorney is deciding whether to accept or deny claim and they should have an answer soon but it's been two months since that was said. I own a hemp company that is also a bar selling beer and wine. I was insured through John Shaffer State Farm for both my restaurant policy and an auto policy. I am opening a new location in Tallahassee and prior to opening I had been working with Cade since May to get insured for our new location. State Farm is all about your money and nothing about service. If it's anywhere near 5 pm you are directed oversees to deal with idiots that have no authority or knowledge to help you.
