Be careful when you pick this State farm. I have had an account with them for 6 months, I’ve had my billed changed for at least 4 of those months and not for the better. It’s upsetting being told you’ll pay one thing and your payment be increased with no noticed! When speaking with them about these issued all you get is we are unable to help or like me worse’s news. They also don’t tell you that insurance doesn’t cover you right away so now I am stuck with this plan or I don’t have coverage for the next 15 days.

I was persuaded to switch from P********** to State Farm and everything seemed great until I had an accident. Then the seemingly wonderful decision turned sour. I found out they only offer a three-week rental to cover the loss of my car, not realizing this was a choice I made during the insurance transition, and having it towed to the body shop is an entirely separate issue. I've personally been with State Farm since the age of 16 or 17 and this has been a roller coaster. It first started out with my home owners insurance which I had the coverage from 2006 to maybe 2014 or 2015 but due to 2 or 3 claims that cancelled my homeowners due to claims from my roof in 2012 or 2013 and there were two break-ins altogether. My almost 70 year old aunt has had State Farm Insurance for all of her insurance needs (home, car, rental, life, etc!) for around 30 years. She's currently caring for her disabled Vietnam vet husband in said house. State Farm informed her this year that the outside of her house was in too rough of a condition for them to continue insuring her unless she made some repairs. Only offered 200 dollars to replace a few shingles instead of replacing the roof as needed, Austin the agent is a real jerk, do not do business with this guy of state farm...

Not a Good Neighbor. We have had as many as 5 auto policies at one time with State Farm. I recently got notice my Honda Pilot policy as of September 9, 2024 will be cancelled. I am the primary driver and my last accident was over 20 years ago. I have been with State Farm for over 50 years. There have been several accidents on the other policies in the last few years. Star should really be a 0. 6/3/24 one of their insurer's had rented an e********* vehicle (Mazda SUBN) and hit my parked car & totaled it out while I was visiting my mother at her residence in Syracuse, NY. Made police report and gathered all evidence that was necessary for this investigation so I can be compensated for pain and suffering and the total loss of my vehicle. Terrible experience! I recently filed a claim (***********) for hail damage to our roof due to a hail storm on 5/25/2024. Several homes in my housing plan have been approved for new roofs. My contractor advised there is hail damage to my shingles. I have several photos that show bruising, that mirror what State Farm has on their website under their Evaluating Composition Roofing brochure. Failure to be that GOOD Neighbor with Auto Claims!! Did you know that if you're in a HAILSTROM and there's no damage by the hail good luck getting your claim approved. The adjuster's handling your claim (3 of them) for mine plus their rude manager treated me as a bad neighbor, the manager was so rude I hung up on him. Costing me another $3,500 for their lack of being a good neighbor. Keep in mind the Agencies have nothing to do with a claim but rarely are informed, I let my agency aware what is going on.
