13 years with a clean record. Never missed a payment. I lost over $80,000 in a garage fire and received a $26,000 check total for the building and its contents. Twice now I have been left stranded on the side of the highway with a poor excuse for road side assistance on a full coverage vehicle. Set up wrong in the beginning. Home & auto were separated & not together like I had requested. Overcharged to set up the account. Took months to get them to combine them. I asked them about the overages & duplicate amounts taken out of my account. They did a review no one contacted me back. Every time I call back they don’t know what Im talking about cuz the send me to different people to talk to. If you can get any other insurance company, please do. save yourself the trouble. My husband has been with State Farm for like 12yrs, April 13th 24 he was in a horrible motorcycle accident. The bike was fully covered by State Farm. My husband was put in the Trauma unit and his bike was left on the side of the road, I stayed up the entire night trying to get his motorcycle off the side of the road. I have been with State Farm for 20 years and have never been treated with such disregard and disrespect as I have by their home claims department, specifically Alisa M**** and her leadership. There was zero responses from Alisa for a month of my contractor and I both trying to get an answer on additional damages. After being a State Farm customer for almost 30 years and insuring multiple cars and homes, I unfortunately recommend NO ONE use them for their insurance. We had hail damage. Had two roofing professionals tell us we had it. SF said they didn't agree. Two months later we had a limb fall from a tree during a storm and put a hole in our roof. I was in an accident, hit and run by a motor vehicle without insurance. While the drive did exchange driver license information with me, the driver refused to share information regarding his insurance and did not want to involve the police I had to go to the police station separately and file a police report. The police determined the vehicle to be uninsured. State Farm is horrible. We had a tornado go over our house, confirmed and there was a lot of damage to the neighborhood as well. I had 2 companies claim I need a new roof of about $20,000, State Farm said I only had $1500 worth of damage and declined my claim. My roof looks horrible with visible damage. I have been with them for over 15 yrs and no claims until this. P*** poor company!

I had a really disappointing experience with State Farm. After filing a claim, they said damage was just under my deductible. I had to go through the appraisal process. It took over six months to resolve. Customer service was lacking, and I felt like I was just another number in their system. I expected better from a company with such a good reputation. I would not recommend State Farm. They are fast to take your money and slow to pay.

Worst insurance company ever! They created a claim when I called for information about a water damage claim. Then they informed me that water damage wasn't covered unless it was weather related and they still put a claim on my insurance record even though they paid nothing! I'll never deal with this again!!
