I had N********* Insurance for three years and I made the mistake to change to State Farm Home Insurance. We had a liking at our home because of the last December rains and winds this caused a damage at our roof and it went through the ceiling of our kitchen. I put a claim to State Farm and they are doing very very bad business. They paid just $3,700 and with the deductible they paid $1,700. 7.19.2024 If you're considering State Farm as an insurance carrier, DON'T! I will NEVER consider moving all my cars and home to them. I was in a wreck in June where their insuree rear ended me while I was stopped at a red light. I have dash cam footage and a police report. When I dropped my car off at the mechanic, I requested OEM parts for repairs only as my car is only 4 years old, low mileage, and in great condition. I've been with State Farm over 10 years. Every 6 months premium going up with no explanation except for state requirements. I have towing on all my vehicles. Today I need a tow can't get one until 7/22/24 between hours of 7am until 9pm. Today is 7/20/24 can't get a live agent due to me already doing the tow online and my number registered. This tells me Tow companies sees the foolishness as well. My car in the side road meaning chances of another company going to take me vehicle. I'm so disappointed. Rating Dissatisfied.

State Farm lost my business on Monday of last week. I called into my local office requesting a date of loss verification. This was requested by the company handling reimbursement of my deductible, relative to an accident that took place in June of this year. The reason for my frustration had everything to do with customer service. Each time I called, the representative would bounce me back to the agent. Scott Reardon, the agent in Tallahassee, called me on 7/11 and quoted me $178 for insurance on my newly acquired 2018 Toyota Avalon. I gave him my CC number, but when he sent me the information, the policy was for the 2016 Sentra that I had traded in for the Avalon. He said we could modify the policy, but the premium would increase. Based on this inept interaction, I stayed with F*** ****** and asked him to refund the $178. He said he did so and I would receive the refund within 48 hours. A week later I still have no refund.... read more

State farm is actually a scam and they will lie cheat and steal from you. So much to where they will say they lost your car or boat just to try to get out of a claim. This is only one thing they tried to do to me. Theyre refusing to pay a claim when a guy t boned me in a no passing lane while trying to overtake me. Completely there fault. They are not quoting and applying charges correctly. Then when you try to get it corrected it's months until it is fixed. I asked for a quote was told $125 to the renewal and paid it. They turned around and credited that money and charged me MUCH higher for the car per month plus 6 days for the month it was bought to cover it. My bill went from $178 to $300. In an instant. After Being insured with State Farm in Lakeland at Brett Denney's office I got in an Accident earlier this year and they are canceling my policy, even after Raising my rates to double. By the way, this is my First Accident, and I am 58 years old. This is a disgrace and why the insurance companies are out of control. This is insane to me.

Terrible customer service. Switched to another insurer March 1 and by mid-April still have no refund and nothing but excuses. Not like a good neighbor.
