State farm charged my credit card for 2500$ two weeks after me sending a cancelation request email to Michelle de Carlo my agent. She then kept denying that I ever sent her the email that I have digital proof of. She then instructed her employee Patrick to feed me a fake complaint line phone number that redirected me directly back to them who continues to hastily argue with me. No idea what is going on at State Farm. By far the worst company. I can’t even talk to a human besides my agent. What would I do if there was an emergency? The fact that I see commercials with famous people that they use with our money is embarrassing. I tried making a 3 way call with my contractor but my adjuster refused to talk as we were on a recorded line. The best part is that we are recorded on their end. Go with any other company because State Farm is not there for you ever

Horrible Insurance, had a house inspector and two other companies report hail damage to shingles on roof. State Farm says there is hail damage to the gutters and caps on the roof but no damage to a single shingle on the roof. Refuse to help fix anything.

Our roof has severe damage caused by extreme winds in the Midwest. We filed a claim and they only offered $213 for roof repairs. While multiple companies inspected our roof drafted reports to the claim that the entire roof needed to be replaced. We’ve been calling for 2 years now, no progress. On top of that, we have a family member with a debilitating disease in the home which has the roof damage. There’s now mold above all ceilings in the home. My family is breathing all that toxin. I’ve had State Farm for at least the last 20 years now they raise my car insurance I would not recommend State Farm even to my worst enemy

State Farm has great prices but poor customer service, was told by a roofer that I had hail damage, called them their inspector came out did his inspection said their was hail damage but not on the day that I claimed, I tried to ask some questions and he wouldn’t answer any of my questions and he just said he would call later with his assessment. They didn’t explain how things would work and sent a small amount of money for water damage that won’t even cover repairs after deductible. Will be dropping them as soon as I can.

Potentially racist practices. I have had insurance through state farm for over a decade. I can go on and on about how great my local area office staff is, but that is not what this review is about. We recently had a hailstorm and multiple houses in my neighborhood had claims associated with the damage caused by the storm. We had damage to our roof and siding. State Farm has no loyalty after 60yrs of insurance coverage on accident and they cancel my truck insurance My house catches on fire no coverage after more than 60yrs of loyal payments to these criminals under the state farm name
