I was in an accident, hit and run by a motor vehicle without insurance. While the drive did exchange driver license information with me, the driver refused to share information regarding his insurance and did not want to involve the police I had to go to the police station separately and file a police report. State Farm is horrible. We had a tornado go over our house, confirmed and there was a lot of damage to the neighborhood as well. I had 2 companies claim I need a new roof of about $20,000, State Farm said I only had $1500 worth of damage and declined my claim. My roof looks horrible with visible damage. I have been with them for over 15 yrs and no claims until this. P*** poor company!

I had a really disappointing experience with State Farm. After filing a claim, they said damage was just under my deductible. I had to go through the appraisal process. It took over six months to resolve. Customer service was lacking, and I felt like I was just another number in their system. I expected better from a company with such a good reputation. I would not recommend State Farm. They are fast to take your money and slow to pay.

Worst insurance company ever! They created a claim when I called for information about a water damage claim. Then they informed me that water damage wasn't covered unless it was weather related and they still put a claim on my insurance record even though they paid nothing! I'll never deal with this again!!

Bad....although we have full coverage on our Expedition, they are fighting us in every way they can to rip us off. We are having to use a lot of our retirement money to fix our vehicle. Our Expedition was struck by lightning. Unfortunately, since the vehicle was struck under the front end, it destroyed most of the electrical system. We are using one of their preferred service shop. However, State Farm has insisted that most of the parts must be used. Our mechanic said that not all used parts can be programed for our vehicle.... read more

To whom it may concern: On September 18, I was charged in the amount of $243, a charge that my agent and his assistant did not discuss with me or tell me about. A few months prior, I informed the company that I was thinking of moving forward with cancelling my policy due to how expensive my coverage had become but upon further discussion about reduced coverage, I opted to stay with State Farm and not move forward with cancelling. Agree with the other unhappy customers in these reviews. We had State Farm for our home and auto. We just got notice that they are canceling our auto because we had one fender bender, one cracked windshield repair, and one tow request over the last 2 years. Note that we have 4 drivers on our policy and these were not all from the same driver or even the same car. The total cost to State Farm for all 3 of those events was probably less than $5000. If I can give 0 stars I would. My husband and I have been customers 15 years and had multiple vehicles insured with them. We were advised to sign up for there life insurance policy to lower our rates, and after doing so we began to receive monthly withdrawls of $80 for having these policies in addition to our regular insurance. We attempted to cancel multiple times and with each attempt we were told it would increase our payments and were not allowed to do so. Lisa Davis State Farm 8201 Rowlock Way Ste 112 Raleigh, NC 27613 This particular State Farm agency has horrible customer service. No response to our calls and questions, Our family has been customers of State Farm for over 40 years and only recently had to file a couple of claims.
