I am extremely disappointed with State Farm and their handling of my recent claim. After a severe snowstorm, the weight of ice and snow caused my deck and stairs to collapse. When I filed a claim, I expected my homeowner’s insurance to cover the damages, as this was a direct result of the extreme weather. Worst insurance company ever. I had home and auto with them for over a decade. I had never filed a claim and then I had to for hail damage to my roof and they denied it. Absolute garbage. I will never give them another penny of my money.

I would give them a double negative star if I could . I already submitted a review on my issue with State Farm. They sent me to a******** collision for an estimate, the place quoted a 7500.00 repair ticket, I went another body shop and got a quote for 3200.00, State Farm would NOT except the second quote and totaled my vehicle. After 30 years, I had to file a claim for damage due to a fire. It's been almost a year, all I have been is ignored, my clothes were held hostage for a month, because they did not want to pay the cleaners. It's been non stop aggravation with this company! Like a good neighbor,State farm is not a good neighbor.

State Farm is continually raising my premiums by hundreds of dollars every few months without explanation first it was because I refused to participate in the safe drive which is a scam they never lower my premiums in fact they raised it continually and when I asked them to discontinued the safe drive I was charged over 100 for not wanting to be in this. I have held off on reviewing State Farm this negatively because, believe it or not, I was pretty loyal to them for a good ten years since I've been old enough to have my insurance plan. In all that time, I never needed to file a claim until last year. When I did, I received no updates about the claim unless I sought them out. This is the worst insurance I have ever had in me life, do not ever get insurance with this company. I had a total loss on my vehicle it took me calling around to have them to do there job. It took two months to get get my total loss claim when it should have took about a month. The second reason not to deal with this company is they took about 4 months to add my wife new car to my policy. I was paying for car insurance for that I had traded in cause, the underwriters are too dumb too replace a car on my policy.
