Do not use state farm at all cost. I had a fire at my rental property 1 year ago and counting. Still waiting for them to approve the summary of loss my contractor and I have submitted as state farm is off by over 50k. They been giving me the run around. Now they finally going to approve after lots of calls and time on my end but will see still not worth using them please stay away!
This company is pathetic. They don't want to pay for anything regarding a claim. But they are will to take my money faithful every month.
I can’t stress this enough, if you have State Farm insure anything that you own you need to look elsewhere for coverage. My car has been in the Shop since May for hail damage repair. State Farm is still dragging out paying for the damages, they take over a month to pay out for each part of the claim. The body shop has told us that State Farm is doing this on every vehicle they have have in for repairs and they are being told numerous other body shops are receiving the same treatment. I don't see the point of sending out an adjuster that says my roof needs to be replaced, just for the individual handleing my claim to deny and say repair only. This insurance company is horrible. They want to repair so when it comes up again I am paying another deductable and they can keep raising my rate based on the number of claims filed.
In June of this year, a semi ran me off the road, resulting in a rollover accident. I was on the way to my grandfather's funeral. I sustained a severe concussion as a result. I have an issue with this company. I started my insurance with this company back in July 2023. The only reason I went with this company was for the amazing discount for the drive safe n save program. They said they sent me the beacon that I had to install in my car in order to keep the discount. Typically my bill was $150 with the discount. I didn’t receive any beacon in the mail and after a few months my bill went up to $220. I barely drive my car anywhere now that I'm working from home. My insurance went up 180% for no reason other than they could. Now they are changing the wording on the vehicle safety discount and they remove my safety discount and increase my policy by another $286 for 6 months. Not a word that said to me or even a courtesy call from the State farm representative that Im using. Just horrible!!! There client hit me and they want to total out my car and take it. Then I told them I want to retain the vehicle and they said I can’t because I live in the state of florida!!! I just want them to fix my car so I can get back to my normal life!!!!
A state farm driver hit my escalade, after going to the shop twice my car is still awful looking and statefarm has ignored my calls for 2 weeks and keep saying someone will get back to me and nobody does. This is ridiculous, state farm also says there's no way the 15k in damage has hurt the value of my car... it's about that time to get my lawyer involved.
