If I could give them a zero I would I was a customer for over 20 years never had a claim they notified me that my chimney needed to be fixed, roof needed repairs and my landscaping needed to be cut down or my homeowner policy would be cancelled.we fixed everything they wanted done but because it was not professionally done we were still canceled. I did not know you had to go to go to a four year school to be able to fix a shingle the best part was I sent in the photos of my repairs the insurance agent said I was all set and ... read more

State farm dropped me after two weather related claims this year. The policy covered less than 20 percent of the costs of repairs. They are the worst.

33 years and I the had a tornado. Adjuster 1 comes out stays an hour writes check for $3000 and leaves. Second Adjuster comes out 5 months later and denies what State Farm representatives had already approved and we had paid. We're out 10's of thousands of dollars and can't sue because you have to sue within 2 years. My wife and I have been persecuted, and ignored for 2 years by them. They wouldn't call us back which delayed us over and over again. Delay, deny, and lie, that was our experience. 33 year of paying these people... read more

State Farm will do everything they can to deny your homeowners claim. If you are considering State Farm, do not do it. It is not worth it and if you are a current policy holder, do some research, as they have one of the worst ratings in paying claims. The only thing it is good for is 100% loss as that is undeniable.

They lie, scheme, and TRIPLE DIP YOUR POLICY. I caught State Farm Triple dipping my policy. I have 2 roommates in my house and for the last 3 years they added them to my policy and back dated it over a year and kept telling me it was an increase.. Their motto is, If other people or persons live in your household, and have a drivers license, you are obligated to carry coverage on them for each individual vehicle on your policy. They added 2 people to my policy that had their own insurance policy and told me I have to pay for ... read more

State Farm is absolutely horrible. Please look for another company. I was a customer of theirs since I was 16 years old and NEVER filed a claim until I was 54 years old. My vehicle was totaled in a multi-vehicle no fault accident and THEY DROPPED ME. YUP. I paid my premiums every month on time and in full and they dropped me the first time I filed a claim. Unbelievable. Screw you Jake and all your colleagues. Especially agent Jeff Nelson. Boo.

We had a hail in our area and we think we have a hail damage to the roof. State Farm refused to do a proper inspection due to our roof being very high and steep. They charge a high premium but refuse to provide a service when it is needed.

We have been with State Farm Auto for over 15+ years with no claims. We had a bad year and had to file 3 small claims and they dropped us. They paid very little compared to all the years of premiums we have sent to them and never had to use. State Farm is not like a good neighbor! State Farm is not there!

State Farm is wrongfully denying coverage of documented impact-related vehicle damage by claiming it is “normal wear and tear.” Complaint Details: On August 1, 2025, I was driving in Sacramento, CA, when I struck an unmarked, poorly visible raised median at the intersection of 24th and O Street. This impact caused over $2,700 in damage to my vehicle, including the front passenger CV axle, both struts, lower control arms, and a rim and tire. I submitted a claim to State Farm, along with: Photos of the damaged car parts A deta... read more
