I had acquired some damage from hitting a pothole and lost my wheel a few seconds after that. My fender was damaged and my wheel hub had to be replaced. It’s been almost a month and they still have not acknowledged the damage to the wheel hub. The communication is terrible. I have sent numerous emails, calls and still nothing. State Farm is by far the WORST insurance company I have ever dealt with. They don’t cover car seats in a wreck like most insurance companies do. Just FYI incase you missed that because your last insurance company did. However, THEY offered us $6,200 (give or take, it was less then that but more than $6,000) over the phone to buy my car back. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication from Briam T********* supervisor. She refuses to take my calls, return my messages, or respond to my emails, allowing her team to operate without accountability. State Farm is absolutely unacceptable! They lie, manipulate, and twist the facts to evade paying for a rental car. I've had multiple agents hang up on me, and none have the decency to connect me with a supervisor, as they won’t take calls. I purchased homeowners insurance and auto insurance through State Farm. I paid both policies in full homeowners for one year and auto insurance for six months. The company is prompt to send adjusters to process a claim and the agents are responsive. Everything ends there because after a claim is the rude and incompetent folks in processing must turn around the claim and issue checks. I have a $27,000 claim and due to the incompetence of the claims processor I had to pay contractor for work completed and after 90 days I am waiting on the 6th check to be issued. The staff did not carry my "old" plan to my new car when purchased August of 2024. I specifically asked for this to happen because, of course, i wanted all my same coverages. I've been learned from past (bad) experiences to have these extras on my plan. After being reassured several times that it had carried over exactly, i found out a couple weeks ago, that they did not do that. Horrible. My home was hit by lightening & the experience was absolutely horrible. Home claims dept is a circus at State Farm. Phone staff acted like they were my claims agent. I was lied to & talked to like I was not human. My agent noted she had talked to me & denied my claim & hadn’t even spoke w me. Had tornado damage on 4/2/2025. State Farm sent adjuster on 4/9/2025 and examined the damage with our contractor. Got original estimate on 4/25. It was a total joke. Had significant roof and siding damage. So I contracted many repairs myself at my cost because there was no follow up for two months. I sent to State Farm 100s of photos and repair/replacement estimates and invoices. The adjuster would not respond to my emails and phone calls and actually lied to me when he did respond.
