1/15/2026 State Farm would not renew our auto insurance due to an accident in 2023 caused by "another car running through a red traffic light" at the intersection of the accident. In addition, there was a claim on a cracked windshield caused by the tire of a truck throwing a rock picked up on the road. So, State Farm stands by their customer only if, there are no incidents/accidents regardless of who is at fault. I can’t even give State Farm a rating that’s how bad they are. I personally don’t have them for an insurance company I just have to deal with them from a claim that I’m dealing with. Our car was hit in a parking lot at my wife’s work. We have now been dealing with it for the past three months. State Farm has drugged their feet downgraded the claim told me it was my fault because I picked a body shop out of network told me it was my responsibility to tell all the body shop to take the car apart since when is it the customers ... read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I got in an accident, and because my parents were listed as riders with their own separate insurance policies through State Farm, they dropped all of us. Horrible company! They are also expensive. Save your money and shop around; do not use them!

Wow! Completely a crap company. Offered me $210 for their client hitting my car and the lesser value of it now because of CarMax. They are Completely out of line and crooked as they come. (Please contact me State Farm) totally unacceptable company. Dont do it!!!!!!!

Too bad i can not give zero stars. Long-time State Farm homeowners policyholder in Elfrida, AZ. Discovered significant water damage behind the walls from a hidden slow leak. Filed a claim, but it was denied due to ‘neglect’ and gradual seepage over time. The leak was concealed and not detectable through normal use—no prior signs or warnings existed. Hung up on me as I was needing to make a claim and asked to speak to a person when the agent said he wanted me to do it all via text and app… they even refused to talk to my insurance company to take care of my vehicle their driver crash into because they insure 89 year old drivers!

waited from November to January for a decision on my claim, only to receive a denial. Throughout this process, the at-fault/insured party on the company’s side never filed a claim, yet I was still instructed to pursue the matter and continued doing so with little to no guidance. I experienced repeated lack of communication: no meaningful updates, no returned calls, and no clear explanation until the claim was denied.
