A man backed onto the street, hit my car and left insurance info with the police, after he got a ticket. It took state farm 2 weeks to figure out who was at fault. Then they refused to pay me electronically and said they sent a check. They sent a letter that said the money went to my repair shop. I never gave them the name of a repair shop. I had to file a claim on my insurance because the state farm claims depart of ohio is scandalous.

We've been a customer of State Farm for 40 years. Their underwriters want me to get rid of my dog since she was involved in an incident. Since getting rid of my nearly 10 year dog is not an option, they are canceling my policy. BUT since they can't get in touch with the person my dog bit, we cannot get another policy through another company. We've been told for weeks, give it another week. I am helping my elderly Mother with her claim. She had some water damage from a water line on the back of her refrigerator. They denied coverage! I called this office to speak to Doug Taylor but of course he is never available. A women told me she was an agent and could help me. I did not get her name. My mistake. As I was talking to her about this claim I guess she got frustrated with me and hung up the phone on me. I could not believe this is how they handle customers. I had acquired some damage from hitting a pothole and lost my wheel a few seconds after that. My fender was damaged and my wheel hub had to be replaced. It’s been almost a month and they still have not acknowledged the damage to the wheel hub. The communication is terrible. I have sent numerous emails, calls and still nothing. They did however pay partially for the fender. Quote was $2k. They cut a check for 1200 minus the $500 deductible. Still short. But better than nothing. State Farm is by far the WORST insurance company I have ever dealt with. They don’t cover car seats in a wreck like most insurance companies do. Just FYI incase you missed that because your last insurance company did. However, THEY offered us $6,200 (give or take, it was less then that but more than $6,000) over the phone to buy my car back. We countered with them for $4,100 for 20%. Adjuster said that she would take the offer to get approved by management. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication from Briam T********* supervisor. She refuses to take my calls, return my messages, or respond to my emails, allowing her team to operate without accountability. State Farm is absolutely unacceptable! They lie, manipulate, and twist the facts to evade paying for a rental car. I've had multiple agents hang up on me, and none have the decency to connect me with a supervisor, as they won’t take calls.
