State Farm life insurance is not reliable for payments on loans. They never send you a clear bill, but they send you a interest statement. Years later they send you an outrageous bill and you can't pay on it online. You have to pay with money order or check. No receipt of what you send. No way of talking to them, but through your agent.

Do not trust a word this company says over the phone. I was recently in a car accident with another State Farm client where I was 0% at fault, and my car was totaled. State Farm, either intentionally or unintentionally, lied to me over the phone and said that if I signed the medical release form but needed care later, to simply call State Farm back and the claim would be updated. State Farm is the absolute WORST!!! It has been 1 yr & 3mos. since their client hit my car, all paper work submitted, numerous calls made - NO return calls, NOTHING resolved.

my bill changes ( goes up) every month and I always end up paying more than the quote. Also still waiting on the drive safe device that was supposed to be mailed a month ago. Most of what I pay goes to their commissions.

I have been a State Farm customer since 1969. I have never had a problem with State Farm until this year when State Farm adopted new software. I know that State Farm received my car insurance payment on 2 Feb 2026. Just today, 19 Feb 2026, I received ID Cards for myself and my wife from corporate State Farm. Not bad for insurance that was scheduled to expire on 6 Feb. Previously, I had to go online and download the "new" ID Cards for myself and my wife. I will be dropped by State Farm on March 26, 2026. The is due to a large number of claims and money paid out regarding my auto insurance. While I've had 3 incidents (1 at fault and 2 not at fault) the in past 3 years, I was not dropped for those reasons. I was dropped because of using too many roadside assistance calls, which are counted, without my knowledge until now, as claims. I would avoid this agency and State Farm at all costs. I’ve been with Jamie and State Farm for many years, and am in the middle of my first claim. It took the adjuster 6 days to come do the estimate and they are only going to pay for splicing the harness as opposed to replacing the harness, which is what the shop strongly recommends. I have used State Farm for over thirty years and why are they now photographing my house NOW. Am I being targeted since I am retired? Is State Farm in financial trouble? SFI is a poorly run company since they should have photographed my house when I FIRST PURCHASED IT. I am looking for another insurance company.
