Absolutely one of the most corrupt companies in the history of this country. They’ll take your money, penalize you for filing valid claims for which you have a right to pursue based on policy coverage and then reject future coverage with a month’s notice. Beware - they will never replace a roof despite documented hail/storm damage and when we had a dishwasher leak due to a manufacturer issue, they paid for about half of the renovation. A hail storm went through Madison Wisconsin on. April 14, 2026. Hail damage was so bad over a thousand cars in the nearby airport parking lot were damaged. Our home and business were damaged. The ******** covered our home quickly and easily. Like a bad neighbor, State Farm was not there for our business despite hail damage reported by two roofers

Do not use this company! After hail and rain we had a leak in the roof. Because they have taken over 6 months to deliberate after a company said that we definitely need a new roof, my infant daughter/ 5-year-old son's room ended up growing mold from sitting water and had to have an Eco company come out for our safety. State Farm denied the claim so now we are stuck with an over $10,000 of a bill from them removing the mold and treating the mold and that's not even the reconstruction of my child's walls or fixing the roof lea... read more

My greatest regret ever was to leave my reliable insurance company for statefarm insurance and especially David Roy Agent. They are inconsistent and deceptive ,i only paid the amount they told me only for the first month of each 6 months contract after which they would increase it by over $100 and i don't know what they put on my car that made it difficult to get another insurance policy even without any accident and o explanations. They got me really frustrated until I had an accident and this made it even worse immediately... read more

State Farm Claims Agents are rude especially the lady was assigned to me Quintel ******. She was ignorant and rude, was not pleasant to work with, she had very short attitude and response when it was the person at fault was insured by State Farm and I was trying to get my vehicle replaced.

I was struck by an uninsured motorist. Had State Farm full coverage including uninsured motorist coverage. State Farm denied coverage for medical bills. Hired ****** * ******. Medical bills totaled over 3K (not a lot). I had to front payments for these bills. After one year, State Farm has offered to pay only the medical bills. ****** * ******has withdrawn due to low amount of money and will not litigate. State Farm will not re-imburse for time loss and travels to medical provider. I would not recommend State Farm insurance ... read more

Had state farm for both home and auto for over 10yrs. No claims. Hurricane Helene damaged my roof. State farm appraised damage cost to roughly 3600.00. My policy states RCV for roof (roof age not a factor). Not ACV. They, in my opinion violated the policy contract but now I cannot do anything about it due to a very short time frame I was not aware of on my policy to take legal action. We had a big Hail and wind storm in our neighborhood. Our roof was damaged, missing shingles, and hail damage. Many in our neighborhood got new roofs. State Farm accepted our claim, only to say the roof only needed repairs-and the cost was Less than our deductible.... so, no payment. we had 3 reputable roofing companies say we needed a new roof. Cancelled the policy. Do not get State Farm-they do all they can to collect your premiums, and not pay out when damage occurs.

State Farm is not interested in customer service. State Farm is only interested in profit not people. State Farm employees are not properly train to help only customer.
