State Farm is the WORST car insurance company I know. I was in a terrible accident where THEIR insured rear ended me and now State Farm won’t pay for my medical bill I incurred because I got a brain injury. We removed a teenager from all vehicles except 1, yet there was a significant increase in insurance premiums for 2 vehicles. Customer for 25+ years, multiple lines of coverage, no claims. Premiums should have decreased. Numerous attempts have been made to clarify the increase. This agent's response was there was a change in "Permissive Use" with no other explanation. All attempts for basis of increase have been futile. *recommendation: find an agent that will communicate clearly

Statefarm is horrible. I was with them more the 7 years. My home was damaged by a freezing pipe burst and they denied my plumbing bill and also I didn't have enough to fix my home completely. I had to use my credit card to help fix my damaged home. And also because of the freezing pipe burst. My personal things was also damaged. I never got reimbursement for my things. State Farm chose to non-renew all our policies except for one guaranteed auto policy after 50 years of being insured with them (and my husband working there and retiring after 45 years!) because between our 4 cats we had 6 glass claims over 5 years. We live in metro Phoenix where our freeways are awful and cracked windshields are a huge problem. We were told by our agent that she appealed the decision but was denied. We have been with State Farm for almost 25 years. I did not mind paying high prices due to being a "good insurance company". We were involved in our first car accident Dec 2025 and as of today, March 26, 2026, our claim is still pending. I am now in search of an insurance company that doesn't just take your money, but can actually handle claims properly and efficiently as they are paid to do.

I have been with State Farm for 3 years. I have 3 cars, a house and a balloon policy. We were recently told that SF is canceling our Auto insurance due to a recent claim on one of my vehicles. Had I known that claims to have 2 windows replaced from rocks coming off other vehicles, I would have paid the roughly $1000 out of pocket to fix my car. I have changed my insurance over a month ago it's almost 2 months I reached out them to cancel my policy and stop charging my card they charges already twice and they asked me to send them proof of insurance and I did that, there's no one to talk to they're not canceling my policy

I had a car accident back in October 2025 and it was clearly not my fault and that’s what the police report said and you can see that through the pictures too. I have State Farm as insurance State Farm went with the process, and of course the other company said that I was in fault, even though I was not State Farm did nothing the claim went through subrogation….and after that, State Farm refused to reopen the claim and when I asked why they didn’t even call me to ask before closing the claim they said they don’t know. In October 2023, I was turning left from Cox Road onto Franklin Blvd. I was in the inside turning lane. As clearly marked, the outside lane, which is turning left, must go to the outside lane on Franklin Blvd. This allows me to go to the middle lane as I turn left onto Franklin Blvd. The lines are clearly marked, but State Farm charged me with the accident, and I now have to pay double my premium for three years.
