I recently got in a crash after the first snow of the year (on the night before Thanksgiving). I heard nothing from my insurance for a week and a half. So, I called to find out what was happening with my car. The agent said it was assigned to be reviewed for total loss and asked me to hold while she talked to the shop. If one of their clients is at fault in an accident with you good luck getting your claim handled. I've called about several times and each time they say they are going to send a final letter to their MIA client but then they don't do it. I made a statement and submitted a police report that they seem unaware exists each time I call.

I had a claim on 10/31/25. As of today still no payment on claim I have been a customer for 37 years thinking this was a bad choice State Farm is not what they were not happy !!! Looking into other insurance

I give them 0 stars i canceled my insurance for my old car since Oct 2025 and they still have not removed the old car and they want me to pay for both cars the car i took out in Oct and the new one and they are threatening me they gonna cancel my policy if I dont

My son got into an accident, it was towed to a nearby facility. Called State Farm. They had it towed from that facility to another one the following week. I made arrangements with them to drive (3.5 hours one way) to their facility so I could pickup my son’s personal belongings (soccer gear, sunglasses, sub woofer, etc.). State Farm has delivered the worst insurance experience I've ever encountered. A contractor insured by State Farm made a clear installation error that caused one of my rooftop HVAC units to burn up. State Farm confirmed the contractor was covered, yet after over ten months, they still claim my file is "under review." My tenants have no heat, and State Farm repeatedly avoids calls, emails, and accountability. Only after I provided their own certificate of insurance did they admit coverage. Keep in mind they have a 1.23 star rating, but you can't leave 0 stars, they get one for free. So if it were a 4 star scale they would be at 0.23. NO ONE COULD RUN THEIR BUSINESS BAD ENOUGH TO GET THIS KIND OF RATING! I've been in the collision industry for 43 years, and NEVER have I had an insurance company as bad as State Farm to deal with. This is the most unprofessional and unethical insurance experience I have dealt with in years. State Farm representatives actively misled my customer, misrepresented his deductible, and engaged in blatant steering tactics to force him toward one of their preferred body shops.
