If I could leave a negative 5 stars, I would. State Farm was charging me $214 a month for full coverage on an older vehicle. I asked them to rewrite my policy to see if I can get a cheaper rate. The were able to provide me with a cheaper rate but I needed to pay $120 to get the new policy. Mind you this was two weeks after they had drafted the $214 from my account. They told me that I would be due a refund and it's been 10 days and no refund yet. When I called them to inquire about my refund, they said it would be a refund a... read more

They kicked my home off their coverage because of "too many claims". My basement flooded three years ago and this past spring, a neighbor's tree fell on my garage which completely destroyed it.

State Farm is horrible and treated me so poorly as I filed a claim and she acted like I was in court or something she immediately started acting very rude and she called me a LIAR which I tried to explain to her the situation she also hung the phone up in my face several times and she was told that I'm very sickly and under medication she still wouldn't let me talk I asked for someone over her she said tough look she's the only one I could talk to. This has really bothered me until I had to see a doctor and health issues has... read more

State Farm pursued me for homeowners insurance, convinced me to sign with them for homeowners and auto, promised up and down, despite my reservations, that everything was just fine right up to the 11th hour, and then, hours before my existing homeowners insurance policy expired, they called to say they are declining coverage. I will be moving my auto insurance from State Farm as well, just as soon as I find a decent company. Special shout out to JT *****and Alex ******with State Farm for being uniquely terrible.

My name is Eleni, and I care for my two elderly parents who are living on a fixed income, struggling to make ends meet. I am reaching out to express my concerns about State Farm's recent practices, particularly their imposition of a $10 late fee after just five days, despite our loyalty as customers for over 30 years. This fee, which State Farm claims is mandated by corporate, seems unjust, especially when they advertise a grace period of 10 to 12 days for payments. With insurance rates already surging by over 30%, these add... read more

They left me on the side of the highway and told me I had to figure it out. First it took an hour to get it to me. Then they sent the tow truck to the wrong address. So the tow truck driver told me he can't get me gas. And he was literally one block away.they called back one hour later. They told me they sending somebody else. Another hour went by then they called me back and told me ain't nothing else they can do find somebody and they'll give me a reimbursement. Now I'm stuck a hour and a half away from home. I forgot my w... read more

My body shop submitted the necessary information to State Farm Claims for additional approval, but State Farm dragged its feet, waiting until the very end of the repair process while invoices piled up. The dispute is over the labor time for the quarter panel, which required much more work once the paint was removed and the underlying damage was exposed. Mr. Hernandez was the adjuster assigned to my case, and he was completely intransigent. He refused to take into account the reality of the repair and showed no willingness to... read more

I’ll try to keep this as brief as possible. Been a State Farm customer since I was 19 - I’m 52 now. My roof was damaged about 4 years ago in a Texas storm - baseball sized hail. Got a $30k quote from a reputable local roofing company. Started the claim with State Farm and they offered well below my 1% deductible. I fought it, and they wore me down and I gave up. Meanwhile, most of my neighbors got new roofs then. Fast forward to now. We’ve had several hail storms since then, and I’ve got a wet spot on my ceiling. I put a cla... read more
