We were hit by a deer we had full coverage with our four vehicles. We own all four vehicles. We took our 2016 GMC Yukon Denali to get three estimates from cascade, martins and a local shop all of which quoted the damage for around 9,800.00. We submitted photos within the State Farm app and uploaded these three estimates. A couple days later State Farm came with an estimate of 3,000 and our deductible is 1,000. Zero stars…. State Farm’s claims department has an unacceptable customer service. First, the representatives I’ve spoken with have been unprofessional and disrespectful. On the phone, I was spoken to in a manner that showed a complete lack of respect for me as a customer. This type of treatment is not only unprofessional but also deeply frustrating during an already stressful situation. Recently filed a claim on my RV awning. They would not honor the quote that the repair shop sent them. They instead haggled them down on the repair cost, and then sent them less than the amount required. They also sent a third of the cost directly to me for some reason, which I had to take down to the repair shop myself. All in all it took about 2-1/2 months to get my rig fixed. Summary: Errors in updating my policy left my vehicle uninsured, with no follow-up or accountability from the agency. I’ve been a customer since 2020 and historically had positive experiences. I would give them a 0 star review if it were an option. They are not my carrier they are for the person that caused the accident which has been 3 1/2 weeks now (July 27th). They have accepted 100% liability. They have extremely poor communication with the shop and us. They have been in twice to do estimates and won’t speak two words to the shop while they are there because they are “too busy”. It is so frustrating dealing with State Farm. I have spoken to my agent Matt Kunkle on several occasions to no avail. Even going to another agent in Albuquerque when Chris told me it was my fault because I had returned payments. My bill states that I owe $4800.00 dollars on August 11, 2025. I am extremely confused as my bill is usually $934.00 dollars a month. I understand that I have had a difficult time with payments returning in the amount of $1398.03 and $125 in fees. I was Juarez told my ins won't pay plumbing repair I added service line protection but state farm winter repair because I live on slab so what am I paying for if nothing of major repairs aren't covered I was told I was covered no the say I'm not state farm has proven that just because you pay 1200 dollars a year they will cover a m y damage water does but won't fix the problem so I can file claim every month for the damage water is doing but they won't fix the problem
