My experience at the Field School so far has been a great one. The community is nurturing, the students are friendly, and the teachers do a great job. It is a great school environment to be in, especially at a middle school level.
Field is an amazing school! The teachers are so supportive and understanding of your individual situations and work closely with you in order to improve yourself. I spent 7 years here and of course there is room to improve the school but I could not imagine going anywhere other than Field.
Field is a great place that allows a variety of different people to get what they want out of the school. It is a different approach than a lot of traditional wealthy metropolitan schools, but in my opinion, it is an approach that leaves less people behind. The curriculum Field offers is one that from what I have seen is unmatched, it allows you to learn at your own pace and take what you want from the school, and is overall an amazing place. Teachers are amazing and it is a fun learning environment. Could be better in diversity. Great relationships between the student body and teachers. Food and facilities are amazing. The campus is clean and open, many places to go while still being on campus.
I am a junior at Field and I absolutely love it. While no school is perfect, Field strives to give each student the attention they need to succeed academically. Building relationships with your teachers is super easy because they all want you to learn, and in my case that has been a major key to my success as a Field student. I've been attending field for seven years now, I'm happy with the education I've received I have had a few bumps in the road with specific students and things in school but my overall experience has been nothing short of amazing.
The field school is a very good school however it lacks in diversity and there are a lot of cliques. The education is very good and the informal setting makes it easier to learn
I found my best friends here and made memories that will last a lifetime. I met some of the most interesting people I have ever met and made more meaningful connections than I ever had before. This school is fun, engaging, and beautiful. I love the Field School.
The Field School is a small school on the top of Foxhall road. With a beautiful campus that used to be the old Cafritz mansion. If your looking for a school where you can be your own person ( not just a number), a place where you can develop leadership skills and learn to express yourself freely... Field is the place for you!
