My experience at the Field school was overall great. I made lots of connections with not only my piers, but also my teachers. It's a school where you are free to be yourself while also figuring out what works best for different learning styles. Field is horribly expensive. The teachers are eager but not prepared for the type of students the school takes in - despite the fact that there are many resources available to train the teachers. The facilities are great.
The teachers are amazing, but the administration has no clue what it is doing. Prepare yourself for a lot of cutting through red tape so to speak.

Security is friendly and close to the students, I have never felt like I was in danger.

At times, the highest motivated students don't have as much opportunity for enrichment as in other schools in the geographic area and sometimes have to wait for their classmates to catch up. A studio period allows for each student to exp... read more
