Oak Ridge really takes pride in their sports programs so they spend a lot on them too along with the boosters.
With the lab being in Oak Ridge a lot of really smart people move here with their really smart and diverse kids.
2 issues: bullying was reported and acknowledged by administration with nothing really done about it which affects child into adulthood, and the school system seems to not understand a Bell Curve. They think ALL students have an IQ of a genious and are not great at dealing with an average student's needs.
Sports are a big part of Oak Ridge High School, mainly football. The majority of the school participates in sports or attends sports events. The school has a weight room and two gyms for students to use.
The extracurriculars were fine. They could get expensive especially if you had more than 1 child in the school system.

Our school is new so it's quality and condition is impeccable. The guidance counselors are also very helpful when planning class schedules and when it comes time to make decisions about college.
We have police officers at our school every day to ensure safety for the students.
