Acedemics at ORHS are wonderful. The Teachers are all ones who want to make a difference in kids lives and they have great special study options. I noticed as I went through school that some kids were struggling and that They were constantly allowed to leave class. I found out that This was because they were going to get tutoring help. At ORHS they have special classes designated for people who need help with acedemics.
There are many extracariccular activities at ORHS. All of them are supported greatly by all staff and students. They have even started a ORHS Dance Team outside of the Cheerleaders. I think That is great
At ORHS there are many and great resources. They have great computer labs and wonderful teachers that will do anything to help you out. They have a program called ROAR that is designed to help HS Seniors that are struggling to sill be able to Graduate.
I really only ate there as freshman because I brought my food or Left for my Off campus lunch. When I did Eat there They had a Good variety and it was getting better by bringing in healthier options.
Yes I highly reccomend ORHS to any and all other HS Students. It is a great school with wonderful Acidemics. They really do care about you there. I think that being ranked very high on the "Top Schools In The Nation" is a backup to what I feel and another reason this school is unique.
This School actually prepaired me better than I imagined. I was very hessitant going into college but after the first semester I realized I was taking college ranked classes in Hs. Orhs has done a great job in preparing students to ease into the acedemic level of College.
At Orhs codes are very much empahsized. Dress code is monitored daily as well as the zero tolerence code. The zero tolerance code is a code that is enforced with drugs or alcohol or violence. When you get the zero tolerance you basically get expelled. I like this code. Since enforcing it, the overall rates of all three things have dropped within the school.
I think there safety services could be much better, but overall i do believe the school is safer then some!
The academics at the school allow for regular, honors, and AP classes. The students' motivation will place he/she wherever they'd like. It's a great system for all aspects of the classes because teachers are usually excellent with helping and teaching.
