I felt that the counselors prepared me a little for what i needed to know, but They didnt help me with finding a good college to go to. I wasnt very prepared and I didnt know what I wanted to do. It took me five years after high school to figure out what I wanted to do. Oak Ridge did not have a cosmetology class so I wasnt able to do what I really wanted. I had to settle for my next thing on the list which ended up being a waste of time.
Athletics is great at oak ridge. Students are very into sports
Some classes have a heavy work load and teachers are a hit or miss how well they teachers teach the subject so that kids understand the material
Some diversity more would be better and beneficial for the overall culture of the school/community and more welcomong for new students
There s bullying and some security issues w/ kids occ bring contraband on campus- 3-4 incidents this school year. Need more school resource officers

There is a lot of school spirit for football games, but all other sports are basically ignored.
The majority of teachers are consistent with grading. Some of the teachers need to work on their teaching styles to make it easier for students to understand.
My high school prepared me well for college because I have noticed that I am more educated in certain subjects than some of my classmates in college. However, I did not receive much education about the military or the work force.
