Worst service I have ever received when dealing with a claim. I would never purchase a policy with them again! We are completely disgusted with how we have been treated as a whole. We were continually told things would be done that were not done and there was never follow up. We would call and call and still after a month, NOTHING IS DONE!!
They aren't like they make out too be even with discounts that you get state farm raised my premium I made one change and put me as primary driver which I have no tickets and no accidents went from 149 a month to 170. So they really aren't that great.
I filed a claim for water damage with State Farm on March 10th. After several calls to schedule an adjutor today, he called and said he had a family emergency and could not make it. Charged my credit card overdrawing it even though I had canceled my policy. Still have not resolved the issue.
State Farm claims department is the worst In the industry. They hire unknowledgeable, uncaring adjusters. They care zero about customer service. My agent is great and so are his staff folks, but claims is horrible.
It's been a month since my accident and 10 days since my vehicle has been in the shop. I contacted State Farm 4 days ago to get the status of my vehicle and there has been no response. Very poor customer service.
I never spend the time to write bad reviews but State Farms ineptitude has been one of the most time consuming and worst business experience in a very long time. Although I spent more than 47 days dealing with State Farm for a totaled vehicle, I still have ongoing issues. These reviews should have a zero star option… it better a negative star option!! State Farm is an absolute terrible company to work with if you have to file a claim. My wife was involved in an accident in which one of State Farm drivers hit our car in the rear… three times actually. I was dropped for too many claims-AC leak, Water heater burst & another water heater leak. One I was given back my deductible due to the faulty water heater. State Farm is “Not a good neighbor and State Farm is not there” when you need them for what you paid for. The claims were not due to negligence and I had been a faithful customer for over 30 years.
