Didn’t have rental coverage in 2021 and vehicle was damaged by a weather related incident. Agent recommended rental coverage in 2022 so I got it. Filed a claim for damage in 2023. Agent said rental was covered, 10 days later I get a call rental wasn’t covered because I didn’t have it at time of loss now I’m stuck with a rental bill that’s higher than the repairs. Dear State Farm Your company policy on paying claims for an accident victim needs some serious work.Your customer service is non existing the individual I spoke with tone and demeanor was absolutely condescending. Let's face it your a big insurance company and you screw over people like me. I'm financially unable to legally do anything. Any contact with them was initiated by me. I had to call during the entire process and could never speak to the same person. I had left messages for a manager to call me back and a call was never returned. The vendor they use to settle total loss vehicles is set for trade in values and my ever attempt to provide valid comps were met with a denial of value. I had to deal with the total loss unit as well as bodily injury and both departments required me making contact with no follow up.
Stay away from Glenn eker State Farm insurance. Horrible people. High price comparing to others, total scams. You pay them for years thinking you’re insured, yet you’re on your own when it comes to make a legitimate claim . They set you up with high premiums, collect your money every single month for so many years you never get a dime from them for your claim. Have had state farm insurance homeowners/auto/Life since2012 they sent an adjuster I guess that what he was as I was not here at the time. They came on there own because they sent me a cancellation notice for paying my insurance on time I guess not really sure . Anyhow the so called adjuster comes /leaves . I get a letter. Absolutely garbage for claims approval. Every claim you have get denied even when you have nearly 100 pictures of proof of damage and 3 experts in roofing saying you have hail damage. The adjuster actually said unless the shingles are torn and leaking then there's no hail damage. So you want me to incur interior damage and pay more?!?! What's the point of having roadside assistance if they are not going to assist you? State Farm completely let me down yesterday. As high as I pay for this insurance, why was I stuck stranded in the middle of a very dangerous median of Interstate 295 in ******** for 3 hours waiting for a tow? reached out to an agent for a “quote” and they submitted to underwriting without my permission or authorization. The agent and even the customer call center reps have all hung up on me and refused to help. They have billed me for a policy I NEVER ASKED FOR and will refuse to remove the policy or bill without invasion of privacy and needing my personal information that has nothing to do with State Farm.
