Im a Statefarm customer. It’s hard to impossible to talk directly with your claim handler/inspector/appraiser. It’s harder to get in contact with their team manager or team supervisor. State Farm and it’s inspectors will make your life miserable in order to not pay for your damages.

I’m contacOng you in wriOng to complain about my recent claim (***********) which has been declined in part. I live in north ******* and in the recent months have had some severe wind storms. Like A Good Neighbor my ***! Have had homeowners insurance with this company for over 45 years and not ONE claim. My “Good Neighbor” did the following to reward my loyalty and many $$$ paid to them: In my annual policy , on my declarations page, when I opened this year was an indication of “roof in need of repair or replacement “ then a letter stating that I needed to “complete these repairs” as they claimed this was from an underwriting survey. 4 years of paying into policy after policy, thinking I could trust my insurance company for once just to find out my policy won't be renewed due to me actually using the service I'm paying them for. Absolute joke of a company
On 03/18/23 I was driving southbound on I41 near ********* ***A vehicle belonging to a State Farm auto policy holder was in front of me on the interstate. The vehicle was pulling a unclosed trailer filled with what appeared to be construction site waste (scrap wood 2x4s, drywall, etc). It was partially covered by a tarp with ratchet straps. A piece of busted drywall came out of the trailer and struck the driver's side side-view mirror of my car, causing damage and rendering the mirror inoperable. Asked for a quote 2 years ago, decided to go with another competitor that's cheaper. Every three months since that first quote I am getting harrased by state farm agents constantly even after I respectfully stated I'm not interested.
If I could give negative stars, I would! I never write bad reviews but State Farm has made me have the worst experience being covered by them for my hit and run. My family and I have been LOYAL using State Farm for our car insurance for almost 50 years. In time of need, this company has no loyalty to their clients and will only pay for the cheapest after market parts for vehicle damage. State Farm is akin to the novel Animal Farm. Dictatorial in their responses to clients, dishonest in their financial dealings and generally corrupt. Things will be fine if you have no claims or disputes; however, question them or have a claim, then be aware!! One star is more than this company is due. After raising my rate 20% with no explanation then again raised it twice when I complained. If I could give zeros stars, I would. I had a tree fall on my house. State farm is not a good neighbor. They didn't even try to do right by me. State farm is NOT there for you. State farm isn't interested in helping you when you need it. They only want your money.
