State farm is the absolute worst company!!!! I had homeowners insurance with them for 20 years. Everything is fine and good and they're so helpful and nice until you make a claim. They won't pay the claim and then cancel your insurance I made a claim about shingles on my roof that came off the adjuster came out and I never heard anything from him again never got it fixed and never got any money that was a year ago but they cancelled my insurance today. My home has been covered by statefarm through myself for 18+ years and my mother for 20+ years same house I had a claim in 2020 they never sent an adjuster out to look at the damages. I was told to take pictures and send them in. I did they send me a check and I had to find someone who would come and fix my house during the Covid period in 2020. 2022 2023 storms came through and revealed damages from 2020. i can see why rating is low. spent a year and a half disputing their offer of $600 on $4,000 damage. we never claimed any injury and it was never in question that it was the liability of their client. all we wanted was repair of damage to the truck. i, and the body shop asked numerous times for an adjuster, but they continued to insist they didn't have in person adjusters, only virtual. they also kept insisting that the photos weren't submitted properly or by the proper person, so went to state farm office here and they subm... read more

I have been a StateFarm customer for a very long time. I have always been pleased with them however in Jan 2023 I saw a increase of 15 bucks, I called my agent and his response was everyone is going up unfortunately. Ok I can do 15 a month but now in June it went up 41 bucks, so in 6 months it has been raised nearly 66 bucks. I called my agent and he told me the same thing that he told me in Jan, that unfortunately everyone is going up. Mind you I have never filed a claim nor gotten any tickets with StateFarm. Horrible company and even worse customer service. They let someone commit insurance fraud on me and despite having witnesses that I wasn’t at fault they blamed me and let the other driver fraud them out of 50k. They then dropped me as a client. Boycott

Very horrible claim department service. I have just did claim for my new pick up truck All four Tires and rims stolen. I called them same day to move my truck to repair shops and asked them to it will be cover by State Farm or not that time I been told by them it will be covered by Insurence after that I tow my truck to repair shop which I choose. I would give State Farm zero stars if I could. I pay for road side assistance in my insurance. Yesterday I tried to use it and they informed me that all the providers are not available so I would have to pay out of pocket 185 for a tow that's only 6 miles, not over the 10 in the agreement. They also said I might be reimbursed... I said no. Why do I pay for roadside assistance? So they said first thing tomorrow morning at 8 am they will put me in for a tow. I’ve been a customer since 1998, homeowners insurance , car insurance , an life insurance, They sent me a letter in Dec saying I needed to do some things to my house so I had it painted, had roof inspected, like they asked me to, yet they sent me a letter saying my homeowners insurance would not be renewed in June, but I’ve been a LOYAL customer for 25 years never late on payments, my agents says he can’t really do anything, but what about 25 years worth of AMY MONEY their getting away with.
