I was hit from behind by a State Farm insured person 01/26/23. Today 02/20/23 I was finally told that State Farm will be send me a check in 7 or 10 days. But, before being told this, I was on hold for 35 minutes and transferred 5 times. Their customer service totally sucks at best. Glad I do business with a true Texas insurance company.
State Farm is by far the worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with. My windshield was shattered by a pipe that came off a State Farm client's truck. He went right in and filed a claim on our behalf as he was at fault. It's been 3 months and State Farm claims department keeps lying to us. No check in the mail either to me or the auto glass company.
horrendous company with horrible customer service. They lie about their discounts, they jack up your premium after you’re in bed with them. They’ll swindle money out of your bank account with any chance they get and they blame it on how many car jackings happened in 2020. Mind you the year is 2023. State Farm is a Scam. DO NOT EVER CALL FOR A QUOTE OR A QUESTION. They will create a Homeowners Policy on the spot while your on the phone even though You NEVER SAID Your interested in a Policy. They created one and started sending us a Bill EVERY month now for the last 3 months and WE have sent in many reply's back to them to STOP Sending us a Bill and that we NEVER Acknowledged or accepted or SIGNED up for a POLICY with them. I am so shocked when I saw ppl's reviews. I have a house under water damage. The total damage added up to about 100k including replacing the boilers and whole systems. After the first 7k payment, they totally disappeared! As a body shop, State Farm is without a doubt the worst insurance company there is to deal with. People who want to insure there cars, be warned! There customer service is ridiculous, and they do not want to fix your car as it should be repaired.
I canceled my claim because my agent was unprofessional by not returning my call after three attempts. Then I had to call Customer Service trying to file a claim. They were told I made three attempts but went to voice mail. Customer Service even tried and came back on the phone stating you right. No answer. The agent voice message went something like this we will return your call as they see as an emergency. I would give them a negative stars! I was involved in an accident, to which I was not at fault. The party at fault has statefarm. Once they accepted liability, they gave me a rental. A week later they decided to total my vehicle. They gave me 5 days to find a vehicle before I turned in the rental. I found a vehicle comparable to mine, 2 hours away.
