Asked for a quote 2 years ago, decided to go with another competitor that's cheaper. Every three months since that first quote I am getting harrased by state farm agents constantly even after I respectfully stated I'm not interested.

If I could give negative stars, I would! I never write bad reviews but State Farm has made me have the worst experience being covered by them for my hit and run. My family and I have been LOYAL using State Farm for our car insurance for almost 50 years. In time of need, this company has no loyalty to their clients and will only pay for the cheapest after market parts for vehicle damage. State Farm is akin to the novel Animal Farm. Dictatorial in their responses to clients, dishonest in their financial dealings and generally corrupt. Things will be fine if you have no claims or disputes; however, question them or have a claim, then be aware!! One star is more than this company is due. After raising my rate 20% with no explanation then again raised it twice when I complained. If I could give zeros stars, I would. I had a tree fall on my house. State farm is not a good neighbor. They didn't even try to do right by me. State farm is NOT there for you. State farm isn't interested in helping you when you need it. They only want your money.

Yes, when I first got the auto and renters insurance. First of all the guy talk me into the renters insurance but he did not tell me that it was a certain amount nor did he tell that it only covered for certain amount. So they are not good when it comes to claims.

I had car insurance through state farm. I had to file a claim and the service was the worst you can imagine. The following are the issues: significant extensive delay in processing the claim and assigning the claim, lack of communication from claims team, communication of inaccurate information, lack of due diligence, lack of integrity in the process and the personnel involved. One of State Farm’s clients rear ended me. The person at fault has been outstanding and as helpful as they could possibly be. State Farm on the other hand has been a nightmare. The accident happened over two weeks ago and an estimate was written last week. Still no payment issued. Anytime I call to reach the claims handler she is not available. i’m terribly disappointed that it’s takingt 24 hours for me to get help After a traffic accident. I would’ve had a car I am without auto rental or a human from state farm to assist me. Yesterday the agent hung up on my husband because the other driver was at fault. Today I got through to the claims agent who did not realize their microphone was on and I could hear them in their house and they did not answer that call or my voice but yet I think heard me then muted themselves?!!!!!

State Farm is a joke. Their client hit me when he turned on red as I slowed down to turn into a gas station. Sheriff even put that he failed to yield. They will pay 70% of my damages & made it incredibly hard to get in touch with anyone. Their only answer was I can have my insurance pay for the repair & they'll reimburse when it's decided.
