I have read other reviews and I have a similar situation as Steve M. Satefarm is trying to strong-arm me into putting my daughter on my insurance who no longer lives in my house, she had 2 accidents in my car which neither one was her fault. They upped my car insurance by $20 without letting me know and then their reason is The state of **** had a premium increase for all Auto Insurance policies.

State Farm is a horrible insurance I had a flood in my home that went from 3 floors and State Farm has not helped at all. Their lying saying that they paid me for the damages but they haven't. Every estimate I get State Farm deny it. I've been with them for over 20 years. I will be speaking to a lawyer about this. And they don't deserve a 1 rating.
\We have been using this agent for 11 years. Which just adds to the shock we have experienced due to the utter incompetence and a lack of rudimental courtesy and customer service skills. A driver insured by StateFarm crashed into my house on 09/21/2022 and as of today they have yet to offer any kind of settlement or any way for me to fix my house. They told me to provide them with an estimate and I had a company come out to do the estimate but they wouldn’t accept either of the estimates that were submitted. They sent someone out twice and still nothing has come of it. Anytime I speak with the claims adjuster she is extremely vague and will not offer any information about the situation nor does the try to help resolve the situation. She says the estimates that have been provided are not in detail enough but I can’t help the fact that they don’t like the estimate. She did send another company out for an estimate but nothing has come of it and she keeps saying she hasn’t received the estimate yet. After a storm my wife and I noticed some of our shingles sticking up. We turned in a claim and was denied for "workmanship " according to their excuse fabricator,most companies have adjusters. Ten year old roof withstood many storms and weather then suddenly after an exceptionally strong storm, with tornadic winds ,my roof was installed wrong. Statefarm is the WORST on all levels. 1) Each rep tells me something different & promises things which aren't accurate 2) their reps argue, interrupt, and don't put in any effort to help. It's like talking to a 5 year old. 3) they use third parties for everything (towing, body shop, yard) and there's always a disconnect that YOU the customer have to troubleshoot and figure out. 5) I had to constantly be onto them to get things moving because they don't follow up on anything with their third parties. with every step my claim ... read more
The drive safe program is not explained. I get good scores, yet only 1% discount. Called and no explaination. Maybe consider driving 5k a year. Never got an explanation of rate. Cancel program if you can't manage it. I'll give them 6 months, then I'm done.
Been a customer for 7 years. When my roof became damaged due to wind I wasn’t worried. After a month of waiting for someone to show up, I was told that I would be responsible for the damage. Why do I have homeowners insurance? So needless to say I’m worried now. I ended up having to pay out of pocket for repairs, but they keep collecting payments from me… I definitely don’t recommend this company.
