Worst insurance 2 thumbs down. It has been 3 months since my vehicle has been at the shop, 2 week wait to get it scheduled and now another 3 weeks before a agent can get out to review the finished claim. The vehicle has been finished for 2 weeks, just want my car back JAKE from State Farm!!!
I have been a customer of State Farm for 47 years. I have had homeowners, renters and automobile insurance. Brent Dixons office is fantastic. They do their best to help you and make you a happy customer. The problem is with their claims office who i think are complete jerks. We had a major hail storm in April 2023. i wish i could do a negative number. State Farm does not take care of their customers, do not return phone calls, and do not care about customers at all.
Don't call in to inquire about a possible claim or your deductible because they'll initiate a claim to document facts and data telling you thatbypu can always request withdrawal of the claim. But when we did that they sent withdrawal request confirmation but would not withdraw from records which affected our rates which drove an increase of $700 a year. Avoid State Farm Insurance Company otherwise it could cost you big ! State Farm lures people with lower premiums and their game is once they have you as an Insured, they do everything in their power to deny or short change valid claims when reported. This has happened twice to me in the past three years and so I have moved all my policies to another insurer. State farm is the worst! I filed a claim two months ago and they sent me a paper check.....I deposited the check and it had a stop payment! I called state farm and after being transferred like 4 different times and customer service is terrible, they said they put a stop payment because they had already made a digital payment to my account! Had 2 vehicles. 1 vehicle was totaled in an accident not my fault. They paid me out and I purchased a new vehicle. They then renewed my policy with the totaled car and after selling my other vehicle they continued to bill me for 3 vehicles for 6 months claiming I would be credited soon, next month, eventually it became it’s not so simple to remove a vehicle. Incompetent Claims Department in my Opinion! Someone hit my parked SUV's rear end (pretty hard) on a restaurant's private lot. Witnesses and their staff gave me a report and photos when I went out to my car. The staff got the woman to come out so they could give me their insurance information. No help what so ever No estimate Misled through whole process Project from ****, kitchen remodel is half the kitchen I had As a policy holder I was given half 50% of money of estimate and the vendors that did research were paid in full 100% This project was in middle of Covid and contractors were hard to find without spending 3 times the amount.
