Horrible claims service. They will screw you !! Dont go with them
The WORST company ever! If I could give less than 1 star I would. Horrible customer service, management team who doesn’t call you back and refused to speak to customers. They left me paying for my own rental due to their lack of urgency, it took them a month to send someone to even look at my car. I filed a complaint and then they denied my claim 1 hour after filing a complaint. I have no traffic violations or any accidents and yet my bill went from from 76 dollars to 113 dollars a month with no explanation as to why I am paying more.
Too bad 1 star is the lowest. My wife and I had a car accident on vacation. The first call to SF we were told our car would be "towed back to my home area to be fixed, I even got a call from the local repair shop the next day. No call back from the towing company. Called SF again and was told that the car would not be towed to *******, but 30-50 miles to repair shop and towing company would call. No call back. We rented a car to get home as our vacay was over. My family and I have been with State Farm for many years. It took 3.5 months to receive my car back which they like to blame body shops for which was not the case with mine. I had someone give me the breakdown over the phone and realized all my delays were bc of State Farm Claims which in turn made me run out of rental coverage during these delays. STATE FARM IS A DOWN RIGHT HORRIBLE COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN WITH STAE FARM FOR OVER 20 PLUS YEARS. MY FAMILY WAS IMPACTED IN THE JULY STORM WHERE WE DID NOT HAVE POWER FOR OVER 3 WEEKS. I MADE A CLAIM ON MY HOUSE AND MY VEHICLE 2 TO BE EXACT THEY HAVE MADE SO MANY MISTAKES ON MY HOME FIRST DENING DAMAGES ON MY ROOF SAYING THAT MY HOUSE MUST BE SHIFTING BUT PAYING FOR MY GARAGE ROOF. We're still waiting from the storm in March that tore our roof off. We've filed the claim. Contractors have said it's about 25,000 through 30,000 and State Farm wants to pay out $1000. We've been with this company for over 20 years with our home and multiple rentals and never filed a claim. Worst company ever. They love collecting your money but not paying out.
If I could leave a negative review I would. If you're thinking of using State Farm for your insurance, please consider someone else. We had wind damage where a tree limb actually went through our roof and came down through the ceiling in our bathroom. That was Friday night, it's Saturday night and not even a phone call from anyone!! I called and filed a claim right away after it happened and we can't even get a phone call from someone with an estimated time that they'll be out.
