If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with Kyra, a State Farm representative, was nothing short of appalling. From the moment the conversation began, she was dismissive, impatient, and downright rude. She consistently spoke over me, raised her voice, and made it abundantly clear that she had no interest in actually helping resolve my issue. TERRIBLE. Will run your claims in circles even when their driver admitted 100% fault in a statement. After my accident i called their company multiple times while agents avoided me, passed me off, and avoided me until the last minute so i was never offered a rental car. They didn't retrieve my vehicle for investigation delaying the situation further, and offered little to nothing for our property/vehicle damages and health care. My home was hit with a hail storm. I needed roof and siding. I was told they are required to replace not match. My siding is 40 years old and bleached by the sun. I am so disappointed. Been a loyal customer for 30 plus years and never had a claim. I will be looking for another company!

This company accepted 2000$ from me and refunded me 1600$ 2 months later saying they can’t cover me. No one came to expect the roof before taking my money, now they’re saying my roof looks to damaged for them to cover. That should have been the first step before taking my money!!! I will never deal with this company again and I would hope no one else will either

State Farm insurance agent Adam Hancock, Montrose, CO. I had separate business with Mr. Hancock, where he charged me double and disregarded my concerns. My guess is that he would carry the same traits into his insurance practice. If you’re about to make a decision with your money, and Mr. Hancock, I would double check the fine print. This cost me dearly in another business transaction. Good luck!

My building’s master policy is with Statefarm. My unit was flooded due to plumbing backup from garage. Statefarm accepted responsibility so my personal insurance policy didn’t. Statefarm took months to pay. They didn’t pay the full amount that numerous claims adjusters and contractors quoted for repairs. Statefarm wouldn’t even speak to me even after property manager and hoa told them to do so. I would not go through this company if you are new homeowner. I'm completely new to owning a home so I started a claim (under advisement of someone) but realized it was not needed, so I did not pursue it. They did not even contact the other party on the policy like I requested. He never received a phone call. This was in December of 2024. Recently, I got notice they are not renewing my policy. I had State Farm for both auto and home, for many years, 0 claims. Policy costs kept going up and up, and when I called the broker to discuss, they were not helpful. I finally decided to cancel my coverage, received an email confirmation that it was cancelled, and then 5 days later, I was billed through auto deduct again, for upcoming coverage (which was, of course, non existent). Required me to call AGAIN, and then be told it's now taken care of (again), and that I can wait 7-10 for a check.
