They only get 2 stars because they still have good employees that are competent. I bought a new vehicle, called days in advance of going to the DMV to get tags. Spent 45min on the phone going over in detail what my coverage would be. Got emailed a copy of the coverage as well. However, when I got the DMV, State Farm had never finalized the new coverage. So I could not get tags. Now I have to take off work to get this completed so I can get my new car out of the parking lot it is sitting.
This company is despicable and horrible. They dropped me like a led balloon because I had a claim in the first year of having State Farm. I paid my money to them on time and in full every 6 months. My agent did not even fight for me. Terrible company. During the painful 10 1/2 months to get my home fix they were NO help to speed up the process. If I could give them minus 1 million I would. My suggestion is to just pass right by the offices and not go in.

Takes forever to get a claim very bad insurance. The claim representative is nowhere to get in touch same with the state farm adjuster always voicemail and even you leave a message they will never call you back. Dont believe what they said “ Like a good neighbor State Farm is there” After this claim I will find another insurance company they just want your premium but when you need them they will put you aside they will just said we are working on it for how long more than a month now no estimate yet. Purchased ins from upstate **for my new home in *** Realtor calls to le me know the State Farm agent always tours the property. He was given the code and had complete access. All is OK per the office. We close on Aug 12, 2022 and UNBEKNOWNST to us State Farm cancels our policy. Yup, just cancels it, over the roof, which had been professionally inspected AND inspected by their own agent! The mail didn't come until August 26th. WE NEVER GOT A CALL. Every time I call State Farm .... as I am sitting on hold....a message tells me that "If you don't want State Farm selling your personal infrmation, go to www.statefarm.com"...and then the link is buried at the very bottom. Why does State Farm think it's ok to DEFAULT to it's Ok to sell my personal info unless I opt out. That is a really slimy business practice and the default should be NOT selling my information unless they ask...and I expressly give them permission. Paid insurance premiums for 25 years and was in an accident. I was cancelled. They were there and then they were gone. There commercials are bs.
I was told by my agent that it was find about my snap drive cause I was at sea and couldn't add it they took the discount off when I got home I added the snap drive they told be next month they was going to credit me they credit 12 dollars from 184 to 144 is more then 12 dollars the Money not the problem if you say one thing do it don't lie and pay me a little credit now need to find a New insurance company
Told me at first that I had no deductible because of a Uninsured driver. Then I went to the repair shop and was advised by the repair shop that I had a $250 deductible. Then I called back to State Farm and was advised that my deductible was $200. They hung up multiple time sheik on the call with them. Requested t have a rental car.
