Their CEO has made getting claims approved null. Adjusters are basically told to deny everyone's claims or keep the total loss under the deductible amount. I was denied and already planned on that happening knowing how State Farm operates. Such a pain for my contractor now, as they have to fork up more money to bring an engineer onsite to prove the amount of damage is correct. I think the worst part is knowing you're a good customer and not receiving the same respect when you actual need it in return. Companies like this don... read more

Used my roadside assistance feature. State Farm's contractor ruined my steering. State Farm called me a liar and refused to hold their precious contractor responsible for the damage directly caused by the tow truck driver. I cancelled my State Farm auto and homeowner's policies and still warn everyone who will listen to run away, far away, as fast as possible from State Farm.

August 2022 and still no resolve from State Farm. Think twice before going with State Farm. I have been a customer of theirs for 12 years. I pay for uninsured motorist. I have NEVER filed a claim with State Farm. I was rear ended, hit-skipped back in December of 2019, a police accident report was filed and I had 4 surgical procedures and here it is, almost 3 years later State Farm is fighting & still refusing to look after their customer of 12 years. Their own attorney had no idea that I was a State Farm customer, how does t... read more

I dont think they deserve any stars. I been spending my hardworking money with this company for 16 yrs and only had one claim my bmw went in the shop because of water damage from convertible top seals was backup. I never knew that it was maintenance for seals. The girl at bmw say they never look at them drain seals for the convertible but State Farm inspectors ask the girl about a towel I had in backseat I have a 8yr old daughter and 6 yr on son that ride in this car. I believe that he thought it was foul play and denied my ... read more

My mother passed away. State Farm's archaic processes for claiming & closing her assets is highly prohibitive increasing the odds that you'll give up. That's how they steal from your deceased! Babysitting adults in a fortune 500 is what you'll do with State Farm. After you submit the requested, they claim they don't receive it. I've been told 2 different things to do; completed & waited the time to no avail. I've asked for a manager to call me...they can't do that. How is this even legal in 2022?!

After years of purchasing cheap National Discount type Home/Auto Insurance, I made the switch four years ago to State Farm. The main reason for purchasing the more expensive policy through the Bronson Schubert agency was so that I would have an agent to take care of my family and make home ownership a safer investment. I was also upsold on the Home Systems Protection coverage that would protect my HVAC system. But most importantly I was sold on the idea that if I ever need help I can just call my agent and it will be handled... read more

State Farm is great at some things but not all the time. They made me wait three weeks just to have my car looked at to get an estimate for a repair. They also told me that it would only take 3 days for an estimate. I am very not satisfied with State Farm. They should not have made me 3 weeks to have my car looked at. They also should inform their clients more about their policy.

Our house is over 11 years old. It was built by Legendary homes, now Meritage Homes. The shingles they used were Tamko, 3 tab type. At the junction of the chimney and shingles/flashing it was built by the installer(s) very, very poorly;water leaked at various times when there was hard wind storm/hail. We had it caulked and replaced with new shingles, without success. We claimed with insurer State Farm in 2021;their inspector approved for only partial replacement, which we did not accept. Agian, this year we had leaks at new sp... read more
