My mother passed away. State Farm's archaic processes for claiming & closing her assets is highly prohibitive increasing the odds that you'll give up. That's how they steal from your deceased! Babysitting adults in a fortune 500 is what you'll do with State Farm. After you submit the requested, they claim they don't receive it. I've been told 2 different things to do; completed & waited the time to no avail. I've asked for a manager to call me...they can't do that. How is this even legal in 2022?!

After years of purchasing cheap National Discount type Home/Auto Insurance, I made the switch four years ago to State Farm. The main reason for purchasing the more expensive policy through the Bronson Schubert agency was so that I would have an agent to take care of my family and make home ownership a safer investment. I was also upsold on the Home Systems Protection coverage that would protect my HVAC system. State Farm is great at some things but not all the time.They made me wait three weeks just to have my car looked at to get an estimate for a repair. They also told me that it would only take 3 days for an estimate. I am very not satisfied with State Farm. They should not have made me 3 weeks to have my car looked at. They also should inform their clients more about their policy.

Our house is over 11 years old. It was built by Legendary homes, now Meritage Homes. The shingles they used were Tamko, 3 tab type. At the junction of the chimney and shingles/flashing it was built by the installer(s) very,very poorly;water leaked at various times when there was hard wind storm/hail. We had it caulked and replaced with new shingles, without success. We claimed with insurer State Farm in 2021;their inspector approved for only partial replacement, which we did not accept. If this company could get 0 starts that is what they deserve. The word the coverage so specifically that you can’t use it and they don’t have to pay. I was a customer for almost 20 years and never had a claim. When I thought we actually had something that should have been covered they came to look and just said no the wording here says that that’s fully on you. I carry State Farm Insurance on my Home & Auto's I filed a Roof Claim for Wind Damage, but it was denied by a Janice ***** an Independent Claims Manager with State Farm. Janice stated the Roof only needed repairs and the cost should not exceed $500.00 The Roofing Company that I hired went to bat for me, but State Farm still denied the claim. My wife and I were an accident on 9/18/2021 that was not our fault and was confirmed by the police report and State Farm. However they proceeded to try and put the claim on my insurance because the other party only had $25,000 of liability coverage and we had a brand new car. This would require me to pay my $500 deductible as well as 20% of the rental car. I saw the estimate on the repairs for our car and it was $16,000. Clearly well under the deductible. I have been with State Farm for nearly thirty years now and have nothing but good transactions until today after I filed a claim for my home with water damage and was told that it was not covered by the home owners insurance, therefore and I am sure all insurances are the same but at the end of the year I will be shopping and replacing all my policies that I currently have with State Farm, I could see if I filed claims every time I turned around.

We experienced a flood in master bathroom, upstairs, with major damage directly below in our kitchen and dining room on May 13, 2022. Have been with STATE FARM for nearly 30 yrs. The adjuster came out to assess and missed items that needed to be covered and tapped on our cabinets, that are still stored in our garage, and told us they are “usable and can be reinstalled to our kitchens original condition”.
