Management is HORENDOUS!!! Wife bought birthday Gift Certs for myself and a friend. Used part for green fee and was told we could use balance in pro shop. Was not told we could use for food in restaurant. Day started with a driving range that was hitting off of weeks. Worse than the cheapest pubic city course i have ever played in in my 50 years playing. Pace of play was just fair and there were some bad spots on the course as far as condition. I won.t go back Greens had been sanded so very tough putting.the group in front was VERY slow. took us over 5 hours to play. When I said something to the marshalll he want me to play catch with his dog! " Throw the ball you will feel better!"i don.t think so!!!
Slow round Slowest round I’ve played in years - 5 and 1/2 hours. We were waiting on every hole. The group in front of us had two open holes in front of them. There was no ranger to keep the play moving.
Supposedly My Tee Time was Canceled Upon arriving at 0600 am for a 0645 tee time for four players we were informed that there was a tournament with a shotgun start at 1000 and the driving range wouldn’t be open until 0830. I informed the guy assigning carts that we weren’t part of the tournament and had a 0645 tee time and showed him my GolfNow confirmation. He said wait for the pro shop to open and talk to him. Very rude Unbelievably bad attitude of the staff(club pro) who suddenly came to us at hall 15 to force us to stop playing. He said we were slow, but we actually needed to wait and wait for previous group all day. He might have misunderstood we had been slow, It was not the attitude to the customers. I believe no need to go there.
Slow Ridiculously slow. When we got to the 5th tee box, after an hour and half, we were the third group waiting on the box and one group on the green. We tried calling the pro shop numerous times with nobody picking up. One guy drove back to pro shop to get a Marshall and we were told non were there that day. Apparently they had a reverse shotgun go out at 8, jammed regular groups out once they cleared the first hole and another shotgun started at 1230. Very Disappointed Have played this course on our last visit to the Napa Valley prior to Covid. This is our first post Covid vacation and thought we would try Chardanay again as we enjoyed it last time.Our experience started out with a very unfriendly person checking us in at the pro shop. He simply handed me the cart keys and said "you can go". I couldn't remember where the first tee box was so had to go back in and ask as there was no other staff around.The first couple of holes were good, but by number 5 things bogged down... read more
