Sucks So breaks between tee times. No ranger. Backed up for miles.
Course needs to dry out The course was in good condition, but they should not of allowed us to play on Saturday morning. The course was a swamp everywhere. There were times when we would hit our drives and the ball would burry in the fairway and could not be found. We called multiple times about course conditions and they kept telling us they were good to go and were keeping all tee times. This was not the case, and making us pay full price was a joke. 10 people playing one hole First time I’ve ever seen 10 people playing in one hole. Marshall was nowhere to be found. They don’t even let me play through, I was playing by myself.

Painfully slow... again This was my second time playing Chardonnay. After a painful 6-hour round a few years ago (on a warm, sunny Saturday afternoon), my wife and I decided to give this course a second chance given the beautiful views and fun course layout. Unfortunately history repeated itself and we were forced to give up on our round at the turn after the first nine holes took over 3 hours to complete (this time time on a cool, windy Monday mid-morning). nice greens Liked everything about the course. My only complaint was that you had to waste time trying to find the 5th hole. When you finish the fourth hole you head to he 5th, and when your arrive you run into two signs. one points in one direction the other sign in the opposite direction. After five or six minutes, I figured it out. Now I realize why the group in front of me slowed way down. The signage on that hole needs to be addressed. No problems on the other seventeen holes.
Almost Ace the hole on #8! I had a great time out today, playing with three other golfers and almost made an Ace on hole #8. Playing from the green tee box Double Magnum 151 yard, pin placement #2, using 8 iron, hit it flush and hit the right side of the cup, ricocheted the flag stick and roll pass the pin to five or six footer and drained the birdie!
Different Maintenance working on greens not shutting off equipment, no cart person, not worth the money at all!!!
No prior warning on likely course conditions in Golf Now Listing Chardonnay golf course is great course, particularly challenging in windy conditions. Unfortunately, this day, they starting players from 1st and 10th tees and pace of play was "waiting on every shot". Also no warning on GolfNow about (a) event occurring later that afternoon maybe explaining the split start, & (b) some punched greens. I had to leave after 14th hold to keep partial round under 4 1/2 hours.

Very poor green condition I play many times throughout last 20+ years here. We haven’t been here in the last 7 months or so. Four of us came to play here on January 6th, 2018 Saturday. OMG. Greens are in very poor condition. Very slow, putt would not break properly they have not been mowed nor pressed for two days or more Maybe due to the weather and rain we had the night before but it was sunny and warm that weekend.
