Wouldn’t go again First time. Had to check it off the list. Better off going to Napa golf course (Kennedy) for the price they charged.
Has seen better days Have played this course many time through the years. It seems to be getting worse as time goes by. The greens were still in good shape but overall the rest of the course is pretty run down.
A bit disappointing. Drove a fair distance to experience what is touted as a premier course. Much has changed since my last round here several years ago. Driving range was out of balls because no one had taken "the picker" out to retrieve the ones that had been hit previously. Fairways had large areas that were either muddy or hard and barren, Majority of traps had no sand, and a good many had standing water. Overall, the greens were in decent shape. Not worth the greens fee. I have played this course multiple times, so I was looking forward to playing this past weekend. For the $ I paid to play there, you'd think they would be able to keep the course in good condition. The round took five hours to complete. The tee boxes were also in poor condition, and there were several fairways that had dead spots.... read more
LIving on the reputation of the Past-Nearly a six hour round Chardonnay under the new CourseCo management has fallen out of my rotation. I had a choice where to play and I choose wrong. Lets start with the no's on the course No marshall to help with the pace of play No garbage cans One Water filling station and it was empty Dead grass on the tee boxes And the bunkers are the worst in the Bay Area including Glen Eagles and probably courses that have been closed, but I've know that since the pandemic and play anyways. No more.... read more
Course, range, and facilities appear to be on the brink of bankruptcy Played Chardonnay yesterday and the adjacent course Eagle Vines a few days earlier to determine whether either course was suitable for a group event this Fall. Chardonnay was ruled out by hole number 2. Greens were in reasonable shape although very slow - probably rolling 6-7 - but the rest of the course was in poor shape and in need of a lot of TLC. Very little sand in bunkers, some tee boxes absent of grass, range balls covered in dirt (staff was surpris... read more
