Awful shape awful carts! Fairways are barren and a total of 4 carts died ahead of us and ours too! Terrible pins as well for amateur golf!
Good course, terrible staff and members I have seen this course for many years, but haven't had a chance to play it because it is semi-private and it is a long drive. This is my first experience with this course: I walked in to sign in, the person behind the desk was alone and didn't even say good morning or recognize that I was there. SLOOOOOOWWW... It took three (THREE!!) hours to play nine holes. Needless to say, we quit at nine. B-A-D, BAD.
Awful experience I don’t think I’ve ever before written a review while still on the course. But, Chardonnay is going to be an exception. I write now while waiting 20 minutes to hit my tee shot on 5. I teed off 30 minutes after my scheduled time because of a lack of golf carts. The course doesn’t seem to be taking COVID seriously; while other courses removed ball washers and adapted their pins so the ball wouldn’t fall, Chardonnay has done neither. Wasnt able to play Clovid-19 drove over an hour excited to play. Horrible, website advertises it as open and tee times are available. Paid booking fee, they took my money. Drove all the way to find a little handwritten so saying closed. Would’ve been nice to know that earlier thanks a lot horrible experience.
Chardonnay sucks I got an email that Chardonnay was open even thru the COVID19 requirements "if" we follow certain instructions. Well it was too good to be true, but i booked a round of golf just to find out it was closed. I don't believe it was GolfNow's fault, they had to have gotten their info from Chardonnay itself. So when Napa did shut down the golf course, they didn't have the courtesy to send another email BACK to us and let us know, but had us drive to Napa just to get turned away.
