Very rude Unbelievably bad attitude of the staff(club pro) who suddenly came to us at hall 15 to force us to stop playing. He said we were slow, but we actually needed to wait and wait for previous group all day. He might have misunderstood we had been slow, It was not the attitude to the customers. I believe no need to go there.

Slow Ridiculously slow. When we got to the 5th tee box, after an hour and half, we were the third group waiting on the box and one group on the green. We tried calling the pro shop numerous times with nobody picking up. One guy drove back to pro shop to get a Marshall and we were told non were there that day. Apparently they had a reverse shotgun go out at 8, jammed regular groups out once they cleared the first hole and another shotgun started at 1230. Very Disappointed Have played this course on our last visit to the Napa Valley prior to Covid. This is our first post Covid vacation and thought we would try Chardanay again as we enjoyed it last time.Our experience started out with a very unfriendly person checking us in at the pro shop. He simply handed me the cart keys and said "you can go". I couldn't remember where the first tee box was so had to go back in and ask as there was no other staff around.The first couple of holes were good, but by number 5 things bogged down... read more

Slow pace ruined the round Pace was so slow that by the 2nd hole 3 flights sitting on the tee box. Called for a Marshal and they said they would send someone but didn't. Left after 9 holes.

Beautiful cousre - totally lacking a marshal - very slow This was my first time playing this course I had heard so much about it from friends and family and was beyond excited.The course was beautiful (what I got to play, only 13 holes), but the pace of play was horrific. The worst I have seen in the past few years.Every shot required waiting, the tee shot, the second shot from the tee, any shots onto the green.There was no marshal anywhere to move the pace along (at least in front of us, was a two-some that was at least 2 h... read more

pace of play Sierra foothill golf team ahead of me. They were taking 10 to 12 minutes to putt out on every hole. If they are college caliber, then I'm a professional.
