The teachers at my school are very caring. You can tell that they care. I had a teacher want to right me a recommendation letter before i even asked her. The teachers want to see the students succeed not only to college but in life. this attitude that the teachers have, has really helped a lot of students go further in life.
The best aspect of going to Rocky Mount Academy is the tight net relationship formed with the faculty and the student body. The teachers go out of their way to meet the needs of every student and assist them in any way possible. As far as athletics, teams are not selective and therefor, give every athlete an equal opportunity to excel. RMA is complete committed to each and every student as an individual. I feel confident that I am reaching my full potential here and will be more than prepared for college. There really isn't a school in this area that compares to the atmosphere that RMA provides. I am always proud to tell people that I attend Rocky Mount Academy.
From playing a sport to joining school clubs or acting in a play, there is an extracurricular activity that is perfect for anybody.
This school definitively stands out from the other schools in the area. There is always a smiling face everywhere you look, and the teachers are above-par. Nothing can compare to Rocky Mount Academy.
Teachers are always more than willing to comply to a student's busy schedule. They also are very understanding of athletic events, and even offer to help after school.
This school is in top shape. Every building is clean and in great condition. Technology at Rocky Mount Academy is at an all time high, as there are projectors in every classroom, IPad carts are in each lower school classroom, and all students in grades 6-12 have a school-furnished Lenovo touch school laptop. College prep is a main focus, as there is a 100% graduating and college attending rate.
