I have had great teachers at my High School that are determined to try and teach the students to the best of their ability. A wide range of classes are offered varying from lower level classes for students planning on a vocational approach; and the upper echelon AP classes. I am worried that Tennessee state mandates interfering with the educational system will drive off some great teachers. My school has had many prestigous teacher retire the past two years with a lot to due with their new mandates.

My school is nationally recognized and has almost every AP class that exists. The teachers are state recognized and usually hold at least a master's degree. The workload is vigorous and demanding, but you will be prepared for college after graduation.

There is a club for almost anything at my high school, and if there isn't, teachers are willing to allow you to start one.

All the buildings and technology is brand new and up to date in my school. The administrators and counselors are always willing to help and are very friendly.

The teachers really push each an every student to reach their potential while still being understanding of the difficulties that come with being in high school.

The staff cared very little of the students. It was a vigorous school like a mini-college which forced students into mental health issues over grades frequently. Though I am thankful I became prepared it was not worth the anguish of the school trying to maintain being #1.

I like rotc and they should change the rule about rotc shouldn’t allowed to kick people out over 1 mistake

I really enjoyed the ending. The ending means when it was over. I'm sure this is a complicated concept for Oak Ridge.

This school has awful students and a few awful administrators. Some of the teachers are amazing and will be the only thing that get you through the day and only one of the counselors is actually there to help and they tried to fire her. I hated my 4 years here and especially my senior year. The academics are great and prepare you for college but unless you're going to an ivy league school you are way over prepared and stressed out for no reason.
